The Lafayette Nature Center has a playground open to the public all the time and two pavilions, one that can be reserved and the other is first come first serve. It has a wonderful preschool and summer camps. They also partner with schools to provide after school activities to bring the joy of nature to children.

Landscapers at this wonderful new addition to Green Lafayette might care to attend to the deepening erosion of the Coal Creek Trail from the heavy watering above. It could become a hazard to cyclists and people with strollers.
