My husband and I found it compelling to make a review on La Petite Academy on Burgundy. We’ve seen a lot of changes. Our child is very lucky to continue having Ms. Aurora and Ms. Marlene in her classroom. We will continue to grow and support the changes as long as we see those two ladies in the building. We feel very fortunate that our daughter is safe and learning from those two great teachers. Despite the previous reviews that I’m aware of from old employees we can definitely say that they are the reason the building is still running.

I have had the worst experience possible I had my four month old go to daycare for the first time Not only on the day we were to start did I show up and the director was not there and no one had a clue who I was no manager, nor how to use ccap I still gave them a shot
His personal teacher and his classroom seemed wonderful as well as Ms Margaret
However, my son was out a week after his first week because he got sick during last time they apparently decided to close the infant classroom no one decided to inform me I showed up the following Tuesday we met at the door and be told can I help you to someone who has met me several times and that they would not take my son. This was completely not OK and they left me screwed Screwed. Even speaking to management about what’s going on I can’t get straight answers. Next school closes will not accept me with ccap I’m extremely disappointed and upset. This is a horrible experience.

All five of these stars are for the wonderful infant teachers, Ms. Margaret and Ms. Faith. They both inspire great teaching and a caring classroom. They are the most lovely teachers to those sweet babies.

It's crazy how obvious a disgruntled employee is. When we got off the wait-list and I reread the reviews I was nervous but the response to the real world tornado and sheltering in place made it obvious this place knows what they're doing. They wrangled up 6 (I think I wasn't there) infants including my little boy (11months) into the "closet shelter" attached to the room where they had toys and bouncers where they kept them fed occupied and safe. The infant room has an attached emergency door other than the main entrance. They provide diapers wipes and food and my 11 month old has awesome daily meals which I'm pretty jealous of. I get to peek in on the camera when he's checked in and love seeing them all sitting in their little chairs and tables with Ms. Faith and Ms. Jessica and others sitting on the floor feeding them all like little adults (age permitting). He finally doesn't have bloody diaper rash a few hours after I drop him off like the last place!

My only complaint is how old the building looks. It doesn't look very nice inside but our last daycare was new and beautiful and it was the most stressful experience and terribly managed. Do not judge a place by it's cover. Miss Mindy and the staff and this location at least has been doing a fantastic job and I'm so grateful we were able to move!!!

(Note. The picture with the babies in the crib was from when they took them to the lobby to watch a magic show with the rest of the school! The babies are so attentive I was cracking up when I saw it! I love all the pictures they send me of the crafts and experiences they have!)

I enjoy coming home at the end of the day and hearing my daughter talk about how fun her day was in preschool with miss Marlene. She learns so much everyday I couldn't be happier. Before dropping her off she always has to say good morning to Aurora and Tara and they always give her such big hugs. The directors are kind and welcoming. I'm grateful to know she's so taken care of and happy during thetime shes there .thanks lpa

We started our daughter at La Petit when she was 6 months old. We have had a great experience with the director, Matt, the assistant director, Kelly, and all of her teachers. They have a secure app that they use to send us cute pictures throughout the day, and we can watch live video of her classroom. Every time I've watched the video I've seen the teachers snuggling or playing with her, always giving her great care. They provide healthy meals which is a game-changer for us to not have to pack food every day.

The teacher turnover has been apparent since we've started but each new teacher has been wonderful. Matt has always been very transparent with us, and I can tell he (and everyone) is working hard to hire teachers who will take wonderful care of our daughter and the rest of the kids.

I have 3 children and we have been with La Petite since 2017. There was a point and time over the years that the turn over was high and extremely frustrating.

I'm happy that they hired a new director Matt who is awesome and has made many positive changes! One being the school Age teachers he has hired have so far been phenomenal! My three children only have positive things to say about their time at the daycare and love sharing all the new things they have learned with me. They really enjoy all the activities that are put together to keep the school age children's curiosities entertained with a mixture of fun and educational activities.

I also love all the updates and pictures that I get of my children through out the day.

As far as I have been there I have seen that the teachers are very caring towards their children, the children all seem to have fun and they handle transitions astonishingly well. Matt is very kind and I also see him being very helpful and communicative with his employees. As far as what kind of a place it is for the children, I see that one of my children that has been coming here is eager to come everyday and is getting along with the other children perfectly fine, I do not have to worry about her diet here they take into consideration for what some children may have a dietary restrictions with. I have seen how close the staff is with each other and overall the experience has been great.
