One of the biggest things I look for when looking at care is the interaction between the teacher and my kids and interaction between the parent and teacher. I have two boys that go here, one in the toddler class and the other in preschool. We absolutely love Ms.Megan and have the best interactions with her and love how attentive and loving she is towards our toddler. Our preschooler is able to talk and share experiences and he enjoys his class. Overall, most teachers here do interact with me at drop off at pickup and I feel they are in good care. Having the camera is a plus that I don't feel I need to check often.

My patience has run out with thus school, and am about to unenroll my kid. Too many incidents occurred here on Douglas LP. Today incident happened, clearly witnessed it while it was happening. Fumbled with my phone while calling the school tintervened, as am watching it classroom live video. However at the end of day when my husband went to pickup our kid, the incident report omitted what actually happened. When he got home and I read the report, I was too angry, and called the school to inquire why the improper documentation, the just tried to cover up and pass me up, saying someone else will call me back tomorrow (next day). This is not the first time nor the 2nd time, nor the 3rd time they did not take proper accountability. Last year I even escalated to the regional manager. They just cover things up, to save themselves. Not realizing that if they don't document incidents properly e.g. in a bullying case, how is the offensive child parent know what their child did in order to correct their childs action/behavior?. Like other parents on here who had to rush their kid to the immediate care or emergency room. I've been through that last year with my kid as well with this school Lapitite academy.

My then 7 month old son started attending this academy August 21st and we pulled him October 18th. He was dropped or “fell” out of a bouncer in September. They gave us an incident report to document the accident and we took him to the doctor to make sure he was fine because he did have a small knot on his head. October 18th, allegedly my son 9 month old son was standing in front of a rocking chair that 1 of the ladies were in while rocking a baby and didn’t see him. The lady stood up and the chair knocked my son out. They called me 10 minutes after it happened and I immediately went to pick him up and he had the biggest knot on his forehead. When I arrived he was wailing hysterically and the woman handling him was frightened and overwhelmed. I took him from her and took him to the hospital to be sure he was fine. I had never seen a knot that big before on a child. The doctor at the hospital and his pediatrician told us to remove him from their care. We asked La Petite to see footage of the incident the day it occurred. We received a call back on the 23rd telling us that our request was denied by administration. The reason given, “what the staff said happen, happened”. If that was the case, why not show the parents to put their mind at ease? We withdrew him immediately. My wife wanted to file a police report and we decided against that because he’s essentially ok. Their level of negligence is a bit much to tolerate. I don’t know how someone can’t see a 9th month old in front of them while rocking in a chair. She could have crushed his fingers while rocking back and forth as he spends most of his time on the floor crawling. My son had 6 doctor visits from August-Oct because of this academy. He got RSV, hand foot and mouth and an ear infection on top of the 2 knots no one asked for. They let your kids cry for a while before attempting to soothe them. I watched by son cry for almost 9 minutes straight on camera, meanwhile they say they let kids cry for 5 minutes. I was locked out of the camera system for recording. We got hounded for payment, sent numerous emails. Sometimes 4 emails was sent on a Monday requesting for payment. My son only went Wed-Fri so our payments were not due until Wednesday. We paid bi-weekly and was given a refund when we withdrew him. I would say that is the only pro to this school. At first glance, they seem to mean well. The environment seems welcoming. They are understaffed and not adequately prepared to deal with multiple infants. If you love your kids, make the sacrifice of finding ways for them to stay home.

My 4yo son loves attending school here, as well as getting on the bus to Brokaw and back. I am very happy with La Petite’s help in coordinating that, and with the daily communication from his teachers about his development. The management team is on top of things, like paperwork and safety practices, and I’m very satisfied that I transferred my son here!

I couldn’t reccomend everyone here enough, both of our boys have been here since they were 12 weeks old and they treat our kids like their own, the care of the entire staff here is exceptional. I wouldn’t want to send my boys anywhere else!

My daughters have been attending La Petite since they were 6 weeks old and are now 4 & 6 and will be there until they age out. Ms. Yasmin, Michelle, Kat, Carrie, Mia, Megan, Meg, Autumn, Andrea and several others have cared for my babies like their own! When we’re not there, they miss going and consider their teachers family. I couldn’t ask for better quality care for my love bugs. Communication is always open, understanding and consistent, all you have to do is ask and speak up about anything. We love our La Petite family!

Great place with great teachers. Was very pleased with the stuff. My son had the same teachers for the class he was in, unlike the previous 2 daycares where he had new teachers every few weeks.
The teachers my son had, Ms Julie, Ms Stephanie, Ms Sharon and Ms Vanessa were awesome.
The director, Ms Hailey and her assistant, Ms Michelle, were very nice and very good at accommodating our needs.
The daycare organizes great holiday parties for parents and children, birthdays and we had a very emotional and unforgettable kindergarten graduation.
Thank you everyone for taking care of my child for the past 2 years!

Due to the pandemic, my youngest daughter was basically never not in my care. I was nervous about starting her in daycare because I knew the transition would be tough. She is in the 2 yr. old room. It took a couple weeks of her crying often, but now her teacher is the first person she asks for when she wakes up in the morning. She loves coming to school and playing with her friends. I can tell that her teachers genuinely care for her too. They encourage her potty training too! My oldest daughter is in school age and is learning curriculum (which was lacking elsewhere). She used to hate going to her previous center with a different company, but now she enjoys coming and they go on many field trips. I feel that I am getting the most out of what I am paying for! It is also an extremely huge bonus that there are cameras. My husband can watch the girls while he is away at work and I don’t have any concerns over safety, which, again, I had concerns about when she was at a previous center (not La petite). The director is so understanding and friendly. I could not imagine taking my daughters anywhere else.
