My discussions with the owner/organizer have been super professional and very straight forward. It's been incredibly easy working with him, as he provides all the details you need to make a decision for your son or daughter.

We have been using LA Math Tutoring for 5 lessons, and so far so good. It took a little bit for my daughter to warm up to her tutor but she felt really ready for the math test she had coming up. Let's see how she does and I will update this review with the outcome. Things take time so I will be excited to give them five stars when I see results in my daughters grade.

David at LA Math Tutoring helped me find an excellent tutor named Emily, and she is helping us with online and in-person sessions weekly. Dave is a superior math tutor. I have not had a math class in over ten years and I had to take one for college this fall (2019). My first quiz in my class, I got a D. After working with Dave twice a week, I can proudly say I have gotten an A on all of my quizzes and an A on two of my major exams. I am taking my final exam in class tomorrow and I am confident I will get an A. I can’t believe the progress we have accomplished in as little as four months. He is patient, brilliant, and experienced in tutoring any kind of mind. His SAT and ACT coaching is also impossible to compete with.

I would recommend him to anyone because he is flexible, reasonable, reliable, and punctual. I think he is perfect for someone who wants a competitive ACT/SAT score or who wants an A in a math course.

I do not miss any of the money I have spent on him. Working with him is worth it as it has improved my confidence and my ability to compute basic math in every day situations, when before I didn’t even know how to compute a good tip when paying a bill at a restaurant.

Our son was struggling with math concepts for a while. Part of the disintegration in his confidence was, when he was still in a physical school, the teachers always gave a pass, and honestly teachers these days are too overly generous in praising students, even when they do poorly. My son thought he was doing so well, but when we switched to homeschool system (with IOWA traditional math curriculum), he was struggling a lot. He was frustrated because past teachers "praised" him, and now he is (in fact) below average. In desperation, we started looking for a private tutor. David Jia, the founder, responded very quickly and provided all the information we needed. We chose the tutor Principio T. because of his resume, and he is European. My husband and I grew up with European discipline (which is very different than American customs) so, we thought we'd give it a try. After the first session with Principio, we knew he was the right one for our son. He is kind, yet stern and very serious, just exactly what we expected. Even my son said, he is a little bit nervous with Mr. Principio, but his way of teaching is very clear and efficient. It only took 3 sessions of tutoring that we saw huge progress in our son's handling of math. He was not nervous anymore with exams, because Principio gave a lot of homework for practice. Session 4, he doubled the homework! We will continue the weekly lesson with LA Math Tutoring, and we're very grateful we picked the right teacher!

I took my daughter to LA Math Tutoring and Mr. Jia was great with helping her understand Algebra, and he was very patient in the process. She feels more than ready to take on her finals. Definitely recommend!
