Ignore the negative comments from toxic people / fakes lol. This place is great and well known in Pueblo 🙂 plenty of kids play through this organization and they give back to the community always and have hundreds of kids playing through them every year :). Affordable. If you can’t reach anyone through the emails it’s best to call the owner. He’s very fast at replying and getting your questions answered. Definitely an amazing organization

TERRIBLE place. No communication & when my kids were on a tball team they did a fundraiser (last year) and we NEVER received the items. Called the fundraiser company and an order was never even placed it took them up until last month to send the money back to the people that donated. This place is a waste of time and money 👎

Dont waste your money or your time. My sons baseball coach quit on team mid season. Called the valdez's and told them. Emailed and texted. They did not care. Spend the extra money and put your kids through parks and rec.

I had nothing but problems with La Gente from day one. After having issues with soccer, I decided to give this organization another chance to see if I would have better luck with T-ball (my son is only 4). This league fails at communication, organization, and overall consideration for their customers. If you contact them, it's hit or miss on whether or not you will get a response. Not only is the league just bad, but I also had issues with 2 out of 4 coaches. I even had my son changed teams due to one coach. I've had coaches plan practices and not even bother to show up or let anyone know they weren't going to show up. I've had practice cancelled and no one contacted me. I've had practice locations changed and no one contact me. No one sends out any information when there is a weather delay or anything. I was never told anything about a picture day, I actually found that out by accident. After the season was over, I never received my son's pictures. After hunting down the right person to contact, La Gente finally told me that the coach never bothered to pick up the pictures like he was supposed to, so they have the pictures there at their office. Keep in mind, NOBODY even bothered to call us to let us know this. The ONLY good thing I experienced was when my 3 year old didn't want to play after all, they kindly allowed me to transfer my registration to a future sport, which is why I went ahead and used it to register my 4 year old in T-Ball. Actually my 3 year old's soccer coach was great and so was my 4 year old's soccer coach. As far as coaching is concerned, the issues I had was actually with 2 of the t-ball coaches. I had my son changed teams due to issues with one coach not bothering to show up to practice after she scheduled it...they put him on a different team and that coach had his own set of similar issues. If you value communication, organization, and consideration with a youth league, you're not going to get it with La Gente.

This place is a joke they never get back to you it seems like all they do is care about the money and expect the volunteers to do and provide everything, I was friends some of the people that run it on Facebook and they are always at the lake or on some kind of trip for their family, it's pretty pathetic that they claim to be for the people and can't even return a simple email or text message, this place used to be so good for the kids when the late John Madrid ran it. Now its just a for profit business..
