My 6 year old son Javon needed help with math and reading and I made the decision to try to help him with KUMON. In just 6 months of going 2 days a week my son has improved a lot. In his last school report we were able to see the progress he has made and this of course would not be possible without the help of Christine and all the support of the Kumon team. The best thing of all is hearing that your child is excited to go to his classes there, that is a sign of how happy he is going to learn.

My Daughter attended Kumon in NWP from 2nd grade up until now (2-3x a week), including summer. She is currently in 8th grade and doing wonderful thanks to Christine and the wonderful staff who always took their time with her. They were always very patient and understanding with her struggles in reading and math (fluency in reading and math), The whole staff would always go above and beyond to help my daughter succeed , such as giving her extra time and tools for her to use to comlplete her kumon assignments. They also have a great rewards system for the students to earn prizes. She has since continued to improve all of her skills, including her handwriting. Her teachers have seen a huge difference in her academics so she is now able to succeed well in school because of kumon!! I would highly recommend KUMON NWP for any student struggling in Math or Reading.

Kumon (north white plains) has been a game-changer for my kids. There is not one reason that I can find to not rave about Christine and her staff!
I was happily at Hartsdale Kumon for over 7 years until a new owner took over and my experience that was a good one turned sour. Vivian Ko of Hartsdale (the new owner of the Hartsdale Kumon Center) kicked me and my son out after a year, stating we were not the right fit for her center! This was honestly just because I asked a few questions that mattered to me as a paying Kumon parent and she took offense to it. She took her grievance’s out on my 11 year old son. He was devastated.
We then found Kumon of White Plains-North and spoke with Christine the owner and we immediately realized it truly is about the caring owner that makes paying and staying so easy.
I want to tell anyone who is thinking of Kumon for their child to seek out Christine’s center in White Plains-North. She is amazing, caring and creates a stress free environment while teaching priceless skills to my son. Most importantly my son is happier than ever doing his Kumon , and he does 2 subjects!. He is now a Kumon veteran for over 8 years. Thank you Christine for taking us in and making us feel welcome and for being an incredible mentor to my son. He now knows that Kumon is helpful and not a punishment because of your center .

We have been coming to Kumon in North White Plains for a few years now. Our boys are both excelling in school. They are doing work that is above grade level in reading and math. The instructors are excellent- patient, understanding and knowledgeable, and they are flexible and accommodating with our hectic sports schedule. Our kids enjoy coming to the center and they are motivated to do their work when here. I highly recommend this center!
