This Kumon Center is special and unique because of the leadership of Ms. Jalpa. Not every Kumon is the same and I love my Kumon Center both as a student and an employee. I studied at this Center and completed the program. I learned a lot and enjoyed my time here as a Kumon student. She knew when to challenge me to the next level and slow down to avoid overwhelming me.
Currently, I work here as a Math and Reading Assistant, and I really love passing the knowledge to other kids that I gained here as a student. All my peers are very encouraging, patient, friendly and results driven. Working here has helped me out a great deal to build my resume for college applications and higher education. Ms. Jalpa, the instructor, is genuinely dedicated to nurturing children's success. Her passion creates a thriving environment for both students and staff. With a kind demeanor and constant positivity, she fosters a supportive atmosphere where everyone can flourish. Her commitment to service is evident in her warm and welcoming approach, always delivering with a big smile. I attended the Redondo Beach Kumon Center for 2 years and completed the Math program. I really enjoyed my time here as a student. All staff members here are attentive and provide feedback to students on how to improve Math and Reading skills.

Currently I work here as a Math and Reading Assistant and I really enjoy passing the knowledge to other kids that I gained here as a student. Ms. Jalpa runs the center very efficiently & smoothly and I am proud to be part of the Redondo Beach Kumon Center family, both as a student and an employee. The Kumon center in Redondo was more than an excellent experience for me as a mother and my daughter as a student. Since the first day, I felt certain that enrolling my daughter there was a wise decision, and almost a year later, I can say the same. The progress in the kid's minds, self-awareness, and discipline are inevitable, and the results are excellent. Thank you so much, Ms. Japal, for the fantastic role model you're for parents and kids.

Jalpa and her staff are very professional and work well with the kids at all grade levels. My son has come a long way since he first began this program about a year and a half ago. It has significantly had a major impact on his learning and placement in school. He is only in first grade but reading, writing and doing math at an end of second grade level, mostly due to Kumon. Returning to the in person lessons we found much better for our son then the zoom calls. He was able to have more time with the instructor and also focus better on the assignments. The center is run smoothly and kept clean. We would recommend it to anyone if they are looking to help their child advance their education.

We transferred over to this Kumon location when it first opened. Jalpa is very thorough with her assessment and is they way she curates the students' curriculum. She does not try to rush the students through the levels and we often repeat sections to ensure the knowledge is engrained. Our two boys have improved over the years that we have attended Kumon Redondo Beach thanks to Jalpa and her staff. Kumon is a commitment by both the parents and students as there is no let up on daily worksheets (even during holidays!) and attendance at the center, but the results speak for themselves when your child is able to perform well above the standards of their peers. Highly recommend the Redondo Beach location. Parking is ample as the location is shared in a strip mall, facilities are clean and well lit, and Jalpa is extremely quick with responding via email or text.
