I was a student at Kumon Lake Zurich for a little over 10 years, spending a little part of each week in my formative years attending class in the center and otherwise completing homework at home. Mr. and Mrs. Nair were some of the most supportive and understanding teachers I have run into during my time as a student, offering encouragement but also pushing me to get ahead of my grade level. They would explain concepts in an elegant way that would make sense whenever I got to a tough topic I was having trouble grasping. While initially highly resistant of continuing with the program, my parents insisted on me continuing. I only truly started appreciating Kumon when I would walk into school and see that the concepts being newly taught on the board were problems I had gone through and mastered months (sometimes even years) ago at Kumon. I’m really thankful to Kumon for making all levels of school much more easier on me, as well as igniting a passion for solving problems.

My son has been attending Kumon Center of Lake Zurich for both Mathematics and English since last three years. I'm very impressed with the experience we've had so far. The structured approach to learning in the center has helped my son improve his academic skills but as well as develop a sense of discipline and responsibility towards his studies.  My son was offered a personalized learning plan tailored to his individual needs that ensures that he is constantly challenged yet supported every step of the way. The instructors at Kumon Center of Lake Zurich are not only highly knowledgeable in their respective subjects but also genuinely passionate about nurturing each student's potential. We also appreciate the regular feedback the center provided about my son's progress. The transparent communication ensured we are informed about my son's academic development and any areas that may require additional attention. We have had a wonderful experience at Kumon-Lake Zurich. My son was finding it difficult to understand Maths concepts taught in school as they were teaching multiple methods at same time. Once he started going to Kumon when he was 6, he understood those concepts gradually and really started liking maths afterwards. His math and reading skills have improved a lot. Mr. Rajesh is doing very good job. He is very patient and his team gives one-on-one attention. They provide customized assignments, make regular changes based on our feedback That really helps in students' progress and confidence. I would highly recommend this center.

I went to Kumon Lake Zurich from 1st grade thru 8th grade and only have great memories/feedback to share. As a child who was active in sports, I am so happy that I made time to pursue Kumon and honed my skills of being a student-athlete from a young age. I credit much of my academic success and High ACT/SAT scores to Kumon’s comprehensive Math & Reading programs.

At Kumon LZ, you will not only be gracing your children with a stellar education, but also surrounding them with great mentors and a caring community of children who want each other succeed. The owners, Mr & Mrs Nair, always provided a positive learning environment that I looked forward to participating in. Like anything that makes oneself better in life, the program isn’t always easy, but the Nair’s / Kumon LZ staff were always there to pick me up and reassure me when I would fail.

Kumon is the best decision that a parent can make for their child. Don’t hesitate to give it a try.

We have been with the Lake Zurich Kumon center for almost 3 years now. I have 3 kids elementary and middle school ages. Kumon has been wonderful for my family. Their grades have all improved and they feel more confident. The owners of this center are wonderful - they know when to push my kids and when they need some extra review. They believe in my children and it is a great feeling. Kumon takes discipline and hard work - if you put in the effort and hard work you will see the rewards.

This is a follow up review.

Iam excited with the progress my son has made since joining Kumon. Not only has it improved his school grades in Math and Reading, but it has also instilled valuable life skills such as resiliency and focus. Before Kumon, my son faced challenges in maintaining his motivation and focus during learning. However, with the help of the Kumon center and its dedicated teachers, he has learned to persevere and sit undistracted for longer periods of time to tackle difficult tasks.

Moreover, the center's staff has been incredibly supportive and understanding, especially during the challenging times of the COVID pandemic. They have gone above and beyond to help my son navigate the learning process and instill in him the importance of not giving up and maintaining a can-do attitude. As a result, my son has earned honors in high school admission, which is a testament to the excellent teaching and coaching he has received at Kumon.
While this is great, I want to emphasis the role that we play as a parent by doing research, preparing him for classes, teaching him at home, and holding his hand while learning new concepts.

Overall, I am satisfied with the academic and life skills value that Kumon has provided my son. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comprehensive learning program that not only improves academic performance but also fosters essential life skills.

Wonderful Kumon center. Not too big! Not overcrowded like other Kumon centers. My kids really benefit from the one-on-attention.
My oldest daughter started when she was 5 and is now proficient with college level calculus at age 12 ! A great learning experience for her.
