Worked here for a few months a while ago. Fellow staff was great, but the owner hounded everyone. Advice my first day was to "always look busy when she was there" even if there was no grading or sorting to do because she would scold you. Kids would be in tears over their unit tests. Instead of making them feel better, I was told to "Just give them an answer and walk away. Don't spend more than 5 seconds with a kid." leaving them still crying and not actually helping.

After my third month, I still never received a single paycheck. The same day, I was scolded again for helping a crying child, so I just walked out past all the parents. Magically, I was able to pick up my check the next week.

We are very satisfied with the results after 9 months at Kumon. We started in late summer before our daughter began 2nd grade. We thought she was behind, but we also wanted her to excel. The Director of the center made us feel comfortable and at ease that the minimum goal was to get ahead 2 grade levels. We started taking our daughter 3 days per week.

When the school year started her baseline scores in reading were in the upper 30th percentile. She was very frustrated and we could tell she was starting to dislike school. It would take her 30 mins to read one page of a chapter book. Reading even hurt her math scores because she could not read the questions.

After 9 months of hard work and dedication she is now reading everything. Last week she retook her state tests and increased from 38th percentile to 79th percentile in reading, and her math scores went up to the 86th percentile. Although she asked to take the summer off we are going to continue Kumon until we meet the goal of reading 2 grade levels ahead.

Well worth the money and time spent. Highly recommend.

We started our daughter at age of 3 in Kumon.
Now she is 9 and we are really happy with the choice we made.She is doing really good in her school being in advance level in MATHS & Reading.And also she enjoys going to kumon.
We like the concept of repetition but hopefully kumon comes out with little more critical thinking in general.

Our daughter started Kumon sessions 2 months ago. We are excited about the study skills she is learning. She began using them at the start of this academic school year. The instructor is professional, knowledgeable and polite. She offers flexible scheduling and has been a wonderful resource.

We began just about a year ago in the math program. My son was falling behind in math and was unwilling to work with me (even though I’m a math teacher). Before long, he knew his addition facts by heart and did not need to count on his fingers. I had worked on this with him for the previous two years but he did not make much progress. I’m thankful to Kumon for getting him over this hump. After mastering addition, he moved on to multiplication and division and quickly learned those facts as well. I am impressed at how much he has improved. By investing 15-30 minutes each day, his progress is remarkable. I truly believe in the Kumon method, and feel a big relief that my son is now ahead of grade level in school.

I learned of this place from a high schooler who was in the program, along with, her brother who had learning challenges. She was in advanced classes and graduated high school valedictorian; her brother did better than expected. My son was in the same situation as her brother and so I thought I would have my children try the program.

My children were in middle school when they started the Kumon method. They quickly showed progess and received high achievement awards when they graduated. As they went on to high school, they continued to succeed in all their classes.

The staff is patient, understanding, and flexible. They will work with each child based on their individual needs.

I'm so proud of the results my children have made through the Kumon method. I highly recommend them!
