Kumon has been a game-changer for our grandchild’s education! I’m honestly surprised to see some of the negative reviews here because our experience at Kumon Cimarron Hills has been nothing short of amazing. The instructor and staff are incredibly professional, kind, and dedicated to helping each child succeed.

I saw a claim that the instructor “diagnosed” a child, and I can confidently say that is completely false. Kumon is not a medical facility, nor do they make any medical or psychological assessments. They simply ask questions to ensure that each child is placed at the right level for their needs. This is standard practice to make sure the program is a good fit.

What I appreciate most about this center is the clear communication and structured approach. Parents are always informed about their child’s progress, and they genuinely work with families to create the best learning experience. If a child struggles, the instructor is proactive in providing support and guidance.

It’s disappointing to see people spreading misinformation to harm a small business that works so hard to help children grow. If you’re considering Kumon for your child, don’t let misleading reviews deter you. I highly recommend visiting the center and speaking with the instructor directly—you’ll see firsthand how much they care about each student’s success!

Our experience with this Kumon franchise was profoundly disappointing and unprofessional.

The initial consultation was acceptable, however, the instructor's insistence on immediate enrollment in both subjects, despite our scheduling constraints, was concerning. Her subsequent lack of responsiveness and unprofessional communication further diminished our confidence in her commitment to our child's educational needs.

The instructor's decision to retest our son after a short period, resulting in an unfair comparison to his previous performance, was both unnecessary and counterproductive. It created an uncomfortable tension and raised doubts about her understanding of child development and learning.

The final straw was her inexplicable absence during our scheduled appointment. This felt particularly retaliatory, given that we had previously been forced to cancel a session due to a severe freeze in Colorado Springs, where the city issued a warning against driving. We live a considerable distance from the center, and at that time, our local roads weren't even salted, making the journey extremely dangerous. Despite explaining this, the instructor's no-show and subsequent condescending excuse that she "just assumed" we wouldn't attend because of the snow felt like a deliberate punishment for prioritizing our family's safety. This demonstrated a shocking disregard for our time and commitment, as well as a disturbing lack of empathy for the challenges faced by families during severe weather.

We strongly advise against considering this Kumon franchise location for tutoring services. The instructor's lack of professionalism, poor communication, and questionable judgment, coupled with her dismissive attitude towards our concerns, make it an unsuitable environment for fostering a positive and productive learning experience.

Within the short three months we’ve been here she has improved tremendously and her confidence is unreal. So glad we said yes!! Our son started kindergarten last year, and to prepare him we enrolled him to Kumon. Nikki and her team did an amazing job in tutoring our son with math and language arts. Our son is now a year ahead compared to his classmates. We can see his confidence on doing his homework. His penmanship is getting better each day.
