I have been using Kumon for a year and I cannot say enough good things about this program! My daughter was in kindergarten last year and was struggling with reading, we started Kumon and now a year later my first grader is at 2nd grade reading level! It's definitely a program that takes time and commitment but together with Kumon, mixed in with some parent involvement and most importantly the child's effort makes a huge difference!

⚠️ !!!IMPORTANT NOTICE!!! ⚠️

Before signing up, please read this message:

Amber Stephens, the owner and center director, has proven to be a challenging individual to collaborate with, based on our experiences. Despite our family's summer travels making attendance at lessons impossible, when discussing the matter with Amber, she insisted on regular charges throughout the summer to maintain our child's progress in Kumon system, citing Kumon's policy without providing further justification. $80 registration fee applied and progress reset if I re-enroll her. We find ourselves questioning the ethicality of charging full tuition solely for practice sheets!!!

Furthermore, our observation during class time reveals an imbalanced allocation of activities, with students spending 80% of the time on worksheets (just like what they do at home), a mere 15% for grading, and a minimal 5% for tutoring. Despite our consistent attendance for a semester (two 30-minute sessions each week), we've seen little to no tangible progress.

To be honest, we view our investment in Kumon as a waste of resources and advise against its reading program (not sure about the math program) for other parents.

Highly recommended this Kumon center! Amber and the teachers are great in finding ways to keep my kid interested in learning. He attended Kumon in a different state before we moved here and almost instantly, I can tell NOT all Kumon centers are the same. Amber and the teachers are very attentive and truly care about my kid. Amber is doing an excellent job in communicating and always keeping us updated with my kid's progress in class. My 6 yrs old is in kindergarten now and he can read independently with little to no help and doing horizontal addition up to twenties. We are so glad we found this place!
