The boat ride is awesome! Got to see sea otters and whales on the ride to Big Timber Lodge. The lodge is friendly and homey, wife and had a great time fishing and eating. Casey and Lacey made it so nice. Lacey is an awesome Cheif. Casey is no slouch cooking also. The best lodge I have stayed at on Raspberry Island!

True Professionals thru and thru! It didn’t matter if we were fishing, hiking or just hanging out at the lodge, Casey and the rest of the staff ensured a top of the line experience. The cuisine prepared by Chef Lacy is exquisite. If you leave the table hungry or unsatisfied it is 100% your fault. Kodiak Bog Timber is a spectacular place! The views are incredible! The accommodations and the food are top notch. We had a phenomenal time on Raspberry island with Casey and KSS. I would call it a once in a lifetime experience but we are already planning our next visit. We flew into Kodiak from ANC, seamless transfers from airport to island. The fishing and terrain are truly spectacular. If you're looking up Kodiak and this comes up, do not hesitate to support KSS.
