Having known both Kat and Margaret for over 30 years, I can speak not only for their skills in tutoring but also of each of their character.These women pride education and are extremely knowledgeable in the areas in which they extend their services. You absolutely cannot go wrong with either of them.
I was actually a student of Kat's in high school. Because of her knowledge and skill in teaching, I remained in the advanced Mathematics programs. Not only is she an exemplary educator, but she has a whit about her that makes learning comfortable and exciting.
My daughter has always struggled in math, but fortunately has always had incredible teachers. As the content became more demanding, my child began to shut down... feeling defeated and overwhelmed. Last year we contacted Kat for help. After several tutoring sessions she began to regain her confidence and also her understanding of the material. She ended the year with a high "B" average, after starting the year with failure on most of her assignments and exams.
Not only did Kat restore my daughter's confidence in her ability to succeed in Math, she made it easy for her to understand... tapping into her learning style almost immediately. Once the hour long session had ended, Kat was never invisible. Anna was able to screenshot problems to her, call her, or text her at any time, so that she could receive further help if there was any confusion.
After the extra instruction and confidence that Kat King instilled in my child, she is now ready to start her Jr. year of high school without the previous anxiety she has had towards courses in math.
PLEASE give these ladies a try. It's worth every dollar!!!!
