Wonderful coding school! My daughter did the robotics class for six months, and she loved it. She learned a lot, but she was able to go at her own pace. No sense of competition between the kids. The teachers were so attentive and patient. Would absolutely recommend.

I enrolled my son here for a one week arcade coding camp that was hosted in Skokie Park District facilities. My son enjoyed coding his own little video games. Parents were invited for the last day of camp to see what their students had created. My husband and daughter arrived at camp only to find that all of my son's work had been deleted or lost. He was so disappointed and humiliated that he disappeared into the bathroom to cry. The instructor was either incompetent or disinterested, and was unable to figure out how to recover the work. My son was distraught, and it was a horrible day.
Mistakes happen though, so I reached out to Kids Stem Studio. I received a half-hearted apology and was told they would look for his files and get back to me in a few days. They never did.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My 5 year old has been attending the Robotics class since April now and absolutely loves the hands-on experience. The teacher and staff are appreciative, helpful, and knowledgeable. Student-teacher ratio in the after school program is just right. Tuition is affordable and if any classes are missed they can be made up easily. (PS this is for the Skokie campus).

We just hosted a birthday party for my five year old son at the Kids Stem Skokie location and it was well thought out organized. When I arrived 15 minutes early to set up, staff was already working on putting the table cloth on and to my pleasant surprise provided supplies of plates, cups, hung a happy birthday banner, and utensils for 16 kids. They had another room set up with some mardi gras necklaces and little things for the kids to play with while they were waiting for everyone to arrive. They were great about the kids wandering from that room to the snack room for those kids that were hungry before lunch/cake. For the actual activity part, the instructor was awesome and managed the group of kids who were different ages (because of older sibling) well and had them all engaged in the lego robot project. It was surprisingly quiet as the kids worked on their project; one parent even commented how he was surprised his son was staying in one place and focusing on the project. The kids were paired up, which was also nice in my opinion. Super impressed and happy with the party experience provided and I highly recommend for a birthday party. I plan on checking out the classes and the programs for when school is out. All the staff were attentive, courteous, and a pleasure to work with! Thank you for such a great experience!

Amazing program and highly supportive staff who are experienced, well-prepared, and truly let students engage with the content in a meaningful way. Their science camps during school breaks are AWESOME and I would highly recommend this program!

Our almost 9 year son took that Minecraft Modding in Java and Engineering class and loved it. We highly recommend. Nice staff and excellent facility

my 8-year old enjoyed all the classes, could not wait to get there in the mornings and learn something new. instructors were very helpful, friendly and engaging.
