I can’t say enough good things about Kiddie Scholars! From the moment we first walked in, we felt welcomed and at ease. The staff is incredibly caring, professional, and always ready to address any questions or concerns we have. My son has been going there since he was 6 weeks and is now 11.He has made so many friends and looks forward to going every day even after school. The facility is clean, well-organized, and full of engaging activities that stimulate both learning and play. They offer a variety of programs that cater to different developmental stages, and it’s clear that the staff are not just qualified, but truly passionate about what they do. Communication is top-notch, with regular updates on my child’s progress and activities.I’m so thankful to have found a daycare that treats me and my son like family. I highly recommend Kiddie Scholars to anyone looking for a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for their children.

Did not keep my child keep more than 3months. Location & size is great! Staff on the other hand is questionable. I don't believe every teacher has a degree! My child has been seriously injured twice. They notify injuries on their own time as in hours later - if at all depending on extent! The front & office area is always messy, crowded with paperwork-- no place to sit, etc. Complaints to owner because of all the problems + there are no working cameras in or outside and she was honest enough to give other school recommendations. Luckily a person from Illinois child act worked there and really was the only decent educator my child learned from. She was very informative and interactive unlike the rest! At the end of it all- my child has been pulled out. Don't set your expectations too high here if you decide. They are too comfortable and needs training or evaluation

I absolutely love the staff here. my daughter started 5 yrs ago and i have never complained, they treat her as their own and the same for my son. I am informed on all activities and changes. the facility is very clean and they take all precautions to keep my kids safe and loved. I know and can attest that my kids love their teachers. The director, Ms. Irish has been Godsent. She loves on my kids and keeps an open line of communication with me and all the parents.

My 3 year old son has been going to Matteson Kiddie Scholars for almost 2 years now and we absolutely love it. They are very flexible and have great hours. I can see the growth and learning every day! All of the teachers in the baby and toddler rooms love having him and he loves seeing them. And best of all, the children seem very happy there and love Kiddie Scholars. When I see my son interact with the other kids, they are attentive and share toys with him and give him hugs whenever he comes and goes. It’s very nice to know that he is in a caring environment while he isn’t home. My daughters calls Ms. Irish the Director her second mom ❤. Thanks to the team at Matteson Kiddie Scholars for keeping my heart at rest.

Awful do not send your child here! At first glance all staff seem pretty nice. There are some older staff there that make you feel more comfortable because in my mind I felt like they would be able to guide younger staff and ensure the best environment for my child. My child was in this school about a year 1/2 and when she arrived she already knew her letters colors, shapes. And she hasnt learned anything new since being at the facility except she comes home suggesting tv shows I havent even heard of letting me know they just park the kids in front of the tv all day. They havent provided a curriculum of what they are working on with the children, no art projects other than a few random scribbles on some construction paper with my childs name on it and i may receive that once a month. When i question what the kids are working on its always them having to check with another teacher and someone will follow up which doesnt happen. I was told once summer is over the preschool program will begin and learning will take place but that was just empty words. About a week ago my childs teacher brings my child to the door for pick up and says she had a bad day but does not elaborate. I ask my child who is 3 years old what happened that she had a bad day she stated she had an accident in her underwear and her teacher Ms Jackie spanked her leg. I dont know why Ms Jackie felt she had the right to spank my child but that is a complete betrayal of trust that i leave my child with u and you take it upon yourself to hit her. When confronted she denied of course. But my child is three she is not lying on this teacher. My child was asked multiple times and has been consistent on being spanked , consistent on why it happened, and consistent on what part of her body was hit. Im disgusted that after notifying the director no action has been taken. I do not recommend this school to anyone. I have pulled my child out and will never return!
