We toured several daycares in our search for the perfect fit for our 3-year-old, and not one checked all of our boxes until we toured Kiddie Academy. My husband and I were both impressed by the security upon entering the facility. The staff greeted us warmly and confirmed we were there for a schedule site tour. They also told us they have live security cameras available to parents. Their approach to caring for the children perfectly balances personal growth and education, and we saw this in action as the nurturing teachers assisted the children. The classrooms were clean and organized, with ample sunlight. The outdoor play area was top notch, with a shaded play structure and lots of room to run. Additionally, we toured during lunch time and the provided lunches looked fresh, healthy and something even our picky eater would devour. We are looking forward to being a part of Kiddie Academy and the welcoming community they have created for the children and their families.

Enrolling at Kiddie Academy of Almaden Valley was the best possible decision we could have made for our daughter. She attended from age 21 months to 5.5 years, and it was an absolute joy for our family to be a part of that community. It’s hard to put into words the effort the staff puts into the educational theme of each week, “above and beyond” would be an understatement. They deck the whole school out for every holiday as well, it’s just such a fun, supportive and nurturing environment for kids. There are so many little touches they put on everything to make it special. A healthy breakfast, lunch and snack is served daily by their in-house chef. There are so many fun little extra activities you can choose to out your child in like dance, soccer, Kung fu and piano. In summer they have even more extra fun activities for the kids like petting zoos, visits from different careers, water and foam play and more. It’s sparkling clean and very professionally run. I literally could go on forever about what a positive place this is. We are devastated to have to leave, but it’s time for kindergarten.

I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone in the South Bay area. My child has been attending for almost two years now. The live security camera was a major factor in my initial decision, and it has since proven to be the right choice for my child. They offer a variety of activities each month, the facility is very clean, and the teachers are caring. Most importantly, the owner, Jennifer, is very attentive. Whenever we have a special request, she does her best to accommodate us as long as it benefits our child's development. I am very glad that my child has spent their early years at this incredible daycare.

Our personal experience overall has been good and feedback from our daughter has always been positive. We have always found all staff warm and welcoming towards our family and our daughter for the last two+ years (her stay from age 2-4). She has thrived in this nurturing environment, and I can see the positive impact it has had on her social and emotional development. She has done soccer, kung fu, performing art, and piano lessons. This has allowed her to try many new things and grow with her community.

The curriculum is well-rounded, incorporating play-based learning that keeps the kids engaged and excited about coming to school every day. You'll see the exterior and interior decor change along with educational lessons or cultural holiday recognition. I appreciate the emphasis on creativity and exploration, which has sparked my child's curiosity and love for learning.

Communication with the teachers was excellent. They provided regular updates on my child's progress and were always open to discussing any concerns. I know these positions are NEVER easy and we always made sure the teachers knew we appreciated them.

She leaves with memories of her times, teachers, and classmates that have become her best of friends.

We enrolled our one year old baby in this daycare for one month, but because our baby was not ready to start daycare, we had to modify our plans. The daycare staff was incredibly understanding and accommodating throughout the process. Their flexibility and responsiveness to our baby's needs were commendable. Although our time was brief, we felt supported, and our baby's well-being was a priority. We appreciate their adaptability to individual needs."

Could not have chosen a better school for my daughter. It is slightly pricier compared to other schools, however, the quality of care doesn’t come close. I am amazed how school subjects are integrated into concepts that make it fun and educationally impactful for all ages. The teachers are wonderful, the owners take a hands on approach, and the school is fully transparent which gives me 100% peace of mind. They don’t miss a beat, and I always feel very informed especially with their daily reports and fun photos. Thank you Kiddie Academy for all that you do for children!

This review is in regards to the incompetence of the administration staff at this organization.

In June of 2024 my husband and I toured several daycares and decided on Kiddie Academy. At the end of June we dropped off a cashiers check for the enrollment fee and deposit, which was over $3,000 to secure our child’s spot for September 24, 2024.

In late August I received a call from Michelle where she informed me they had lost my check. Then she proceeded to explain to me that it was my fault they lost the check because I had taken too long to complete the enrollment paperwork and that I would need to provide them a replacement check prior to my child starting.

Since the check was a cashiers check I had to call the bank and then go into a local branch to have them research the check. After taking three hours off of work to research the “list” check the bank provided me with proof that Kiddie Academy had deposited the check on July 1st 2024.

Working in finance myself I was very concerned that they are not doing monthly reconciliations of their accounts and had over $3,000 unaccounted for and that before blaming me for the list check they did not do any financial research on their end.

When my husband called to speak with Michelle she also blamed us for not completing the enrollment paperwork fast enough.

At this point, we decided this was probably not the best place for us to be investing our money and we wanted to take our child elsewhere. Kiddie Academy refused to refund our deposit to us, but let us know that we didn’t have to attend. I explained to Michelle that I do not have $3,000 to give to them so that my child would be attending and asked for her to give me an end date based on our deposit which was provided as October 23, 2024.

While I understand that we may not have been able to receive our enrollment feedback, I was extremely disappointed that they were unwilling to refund tuition that we had not yet used and reluctantly sent my child to this location so that we did not lose out on the money.

At the end of September, I received an invoice for $154.68. I was a little confused as I was told October 23 would be our end date based on the money that we had already paid. I had to email three times to get clarification on the invoice at which point they told me that we would owe this additional money. I provided our previous conversation (which was in writing) that they had told me we would be able to attend through October 23rd based on the money they received from us. After they realized their error, they did agree to not charge the additional money but again I was frustrated that I had to reach out three separate times for clarification.

This facility shows nicely, and the teachers that we have are fantastic however, the administrative staff only cares about the bottom line. Not only was it frustrating that they would not return our deposit, but my child who is attending daycare for the first time had to spend his first month transitioning and learning the school and now he will be leaving and transitioning and learning another school, which is very difficult for a two year-old

If they really cared about the best interest of the children and not their bottom line, they would have at least refunded our tuition. I just can’t see how people can pay the type of money they’re asking for the type of service they provide.

We have been sending our son to Kiddie Academy at Almaden for the past 1 year, and that’s probably one of the best decision we made for him. Our experience with this preschool has been nothing less than amazing. Jennifer and Rick are doing a wonderful job running this school and organizing activities. Special shoutout to teachers Ms.Ali, Ms.Catalina and Mr,Bobby. My son has grown leaps and bounds in terms of social skills and behavior, thanks to them! I would definitely recommend this preschool to anyone who is looking for that extra touch of creativity for their child’s early education.
