This was the first daycare that my son attended when he was very young not even walking yet. My daughter also Attended starting at the age of two. We developed bonds with the people there overtime, and it was very disheartening to learn that these people were not taking good care of my children.

One instance was my daughter had been bit multiple times and the staff knew nothing about it When asked about camera footage I was told they could not access it

They had staffing issues, they had sinks that weren’t in working condition, the roof had been under repair since we had been there, and the final straw was when I walked into my class one morning and witnessed The childcare worker grab a child by her arm, and filling her back with such force that the child fell down. When I confronted her about this, she started screaming and yelling and running down the hall at which point I asked to speak with the Director, The child’s mom was actually a good friend of mine, and I called her as well. We asked that they do an investigation and that the childcare worker be let go.. The investigation came back unfounded and they said they didn’t have any camera footage because their cameras were down. My friend and I both pulled our children that day. This is something that I witnessed with my eyes!

After having left Kid City, I found out a couple months later than another friend of mine’s daughter was locked in a bathroom for a half an hour unaccounted for she was not even two years old yet.

Edit but it should have been at the top. Last week my son got an incident report and the teacher assumed he had a bad day. Upon reading it, my son was hit in the head with a rock and he had a lump under his hair. Most schools call you if there is any head bumps just to be safe. They just handed me a slip of paper at pick up. He hasn't had a behavioral incident report in a few weeks. ASD kids need time to adjust to new teachers, and they have a lot of staff changes.

1, they have a lot of staffing issues. Every few months you'll get a random email saying that child care is 1st come 1st serve because they don't have staff, or their closing early or won't be open. And if you think they will offer you a partial refund for the days you missed work or had to pay for last minute childcare for those 1st come 1st serve days, you would be wrong.

2-uniform shirts cost 18 dollars, they never have the right sizes. Most days nobody wears uniforms, but you'll randomly get an email saying the kiddos have to be uniformed or they'll put a shirt on the kid and charge your account. Last time they did this I had asked to purchase a couple shirts in my kids size, but they were out and the next week they put him in a uniform that fit like a dress and charged our account.

3-both of my kiddos have been kicked out due to having special needs. My youngest hasn't had an incident a month but according to them, they are kicking him out because the only teacher that can "deal with him" is leaving..which means that the training and skill levels of their staff are inconsistent, and the school is not equipped to "deal with" special needs children. And yes they said deal with, not work with or anything else. Deal with..
I say according to them because there was a black teacher that asked why Noah was leaving and I told her that the director kicked him out and that's not what the staff were told in the meeting. She seemed surprised since she has worked with my son and said he wasn't any more difficult then the other kids. We both reflected on the fact that most of the black students left services for behavioral reasons when they are not any worse behaved then the other students. The next week that teacher no longer worked there, so I hope she didn't address them herself and get fired... She was the only black teacher. So I have my thoughts

3-I also had several instances of my son getting sent home with the runs after they gave him milk despite several conversations about him being intolerant of milk. I had the same milk conversation several times, and was told several times that the issue would be noted in his file and a month later the same thing would happen. To be fair that hasn't happened recently, but still.

I would really just keep this place as a last resort and a temporary one at best.. the none POC people will say I'm being dramatic, but it's Greeley Colorado. We know what it is, and can read the signs. It's not enough proof to take legal action, but why put yourself or your kid in that position.

The consistent staffing issues and random 1st come 1st serve days are enough for any parent, weather or not my perception of potential discrimination is correct or not. The place is just unprofessional and inconsistent. Make a better choice for your kids

We just started here and really like it so far. We have had one minor inconvenience that was promptly solved in a professional manner. Kaylee, the Director is very nice and my son seems to feel comfortable with his teachers, even though he’s a crybaby every time he gets dropped off They are super nice to him and me.

i wish i could give -000000 stars my niece was constantly getting bit and the staff wouldn't do anything about it!!!!!!!! my family talked and talked to them about it called higher up people they wouldn't do anything about anything filed a complaint with BBB and will go further and further until someone is held accountable for not keeping my niece safe in their care!!!

Kid City is very clean and is very intuitive in what goes on with my child's life. They make sure to follow instructions from the therapist to my households needs to help my child grow intellectually. They have patience for my child and that's very important for me as a mom.

I love this daycare center. my son has learned so much being there. the staff are amazing with all the little kiddos.

I only have good things to say about this school. From the director to every teacher at the school, everyone is always kind and helpful.
