Keystone Ski School does a great job with entry level skiers and boarders - especially with youngsters. Everyone knows it can be challenging to teach a new skill to a kiddo that is outside of their comfort zone! But all of the instructors I’ve seen exercise patience and a good attitude. Our 4yr old daughter went three consecutive days and was MUCH better and more confident by the end!

My 4-year-old had an absolutely fantastic time during his beginner Morning toddler ski lesson at Keystone’s Ski School.

We visited the day after Christmas, and there were only three other kids in the group, which allowed for more personalized attention. Parents are not required to stay during the lessons, as pickup times are communicated at the start, but you are welcome to watch from the periphery if you prefer.

Since it was my toddler's first time seeing snow, he was more interested in playing in it than in following his two instructors’ guidance. I was a bit apprehensive about whether the lesson would be effective. However, I was pleasantly surprised by Riley (I hope I’ve got the name right), who worked independently with my child and adapted the pace of the lesson to suit his needs.

Despite my toddler's distraction—who wanted to make snow angels rather than ski😆—Riley displayed incredible patience, recognizing that my child was a "different kind of learner." Riley adjusted her approach and allowed my toddler to explore and play while gently guiding him through the basics of skiing.

Before long, my toddler was confidently heading on the magic carpet, eager to go down the slope again and again. The instructors also ensured the kids took several breaks inside the ski school cabin, where they enjoyed hot chocolate, snacks, and bathroom breaks, which kept everyone comfortable and engaged.

Overall, it was a wonderful first ski experience for my child, and I’m so grateful for the instructors’ patience and skill in making it a memorable and successful introduction to skiing.

First time skiing! I did a full day with Allen and Lenni, and it was an incredible experience. They were super professional and made me feel very comfortable! My second class at Level 2 with Lenni was great—we went down the mountain, and she helped me overcome my fear. Highly recommended! I will definitely be back!!

Andrew was amazing. We had private lessons. First time skiing. He was so patient and great with my kids. He was amazing. He went above and beyond. My daughter was crying scared and he stayed with her the whole time .

Snowboard instructor was great. Customer service inside the Keystone Ski/ride check in not so great: rude older gentleman. It snowed on oyr visit, making the experience even better.

Had a great experience with our instructor, Vadym. The drills we went through were really helpful and was exactly what we needed to gain confidence to go down the hills. I think the half way was more than enough time for the lesson for me personally.

My daughter who just turned three absolutely enjoyed her lesson at Keystone’s childrens ski/snowboard school. Jared was a great teacher and was very patient with my daughter (which got distracted very easily). He taught her how to stop with heel edge.
We got really lucky she was the only child in the pm toddler snowboarding class so it was practically an individual lesson.
They took breaks inside the cabin which has drinks/snacks and they took it slow since she’s very little.

Our 4.5 year old did ski school for the first time this year. She was signed up for 3 morning half day sessions. She went to the first to lessons and on day 3 she didn’t want to go and was truly throwing a fit that morning and saying she was too scared. The ski school instructors said we could try and come to the afternoon session as sometimes kids feel better and are willing to try then. She had been signed up to attend the preschool childcare class that afternoon and both ski school and the childcare center were accommodating in letting us swap times. When we came to pick up our daughter for her afternoon session she was in a better mood but still a little scared to go skiing again. With some bribery, she agreed to go and had Ms. Jill as her teacher. Ms. Jill was truly incredible! Our daughter came back after her lesson all smiles and even wanted to go up one more time with us and show us what she learned. She even moved up to level 2 after just 3 short lessons! She excited to go skiing again next year. Ms. Jill even went above and beyond and sent me a text with details on what she learned with pictures and videos too!
