Call before you spend the money to see if ice is cleaned. Just cause it’s open doesn’t mean it’s skate-able. An hour in and the ice still had an inch of snow. Asked for a shovel and they wouldn’t give it to us. We were offering to clean our own ice! They say, “Zamboni is on its way”… 20 min later still shoveling our own ice using kid skate helpers. If you are going to charge a butt load of money attest clean your ice or let us do it. Waste of money.

*updated: they did discount us since the ice never got cleaned. Still recommend calling! Their hours online aren’t always right.

What a neat experience! We loved being able to ice skate outside on the frozen lake during our recent trip to Keystone. The skate rental process was easy and they had tons of the skate helpers for my kids. After you put your skates on inside, be careful walking down the ramp to the rink - it's super icy and I slipped and fell flat almost immediately. We bought our tickets in advance, but were there on a Thursday and it didn't seem busy. You can park in the Keystone conference center lot across Highway 6 and use the tunnel to walk back to the lake and shopping area.

Such a beautiful day and amazing experience!!! I can’t believe I never went here in the nearly 20 years of living and visiting Summit County!!! The staff at the Adventure Center were great. The skates were great for rentals. And the experience of skating on a huge frozen lake is unforgettable!!! We’re hoping to go again next week before having to leave!

We love Keystone Lake Ice Rink! First of all unique experience as the views are stunning and you can see thru layers of this ice on the lake specially after machine passing by. So spacious that you don’t feel crowded. Also they have hockey box, separate. Service super nice! Pretty good skates also compare to many rental places and price friendly. Only thing is parking across the road, but that’s not as important

We love skating on a real frozen lake. Coming from the south each year we look forward to this rare and exciting experience. The lake is huge with some areas more groomed than others and a full sized hockey arena in addition to acres of free skate area. They have skate helpers and sleds for babies to ride in.

Gorgeous lake for skating in the winter. Not only is there a cut little "town" around it, you get beautiful mountain scape in the background. I took this in early Feb during a trip ski.

The ice is a little bumpy, but the Zamboni is run multiple times per day. There are areas to play ho key split off and plenty of room for people to have fun or work on skills.

Watch out for the snow in your blade, it slows your blade down suddenly, like hitting water while running

amazing experience, friendly staff, worth every second. we skated for two hours with excellent equipment and then had hot chocolate and all the staff were very friendly and helpful.
