Kevin was enormously helpful in helping my son improve his SAT scores. After a discouraging result in his first test and an unsatisfactory experience with another tutor, he was very discouraged. Kevin has helped my daughter with her 3rd grade math more than I could have imagined! Her grades completely turned around in one semester. Not only did her grades improve immensely, but her confidence is amazing. She went from struggling and frustration with her homework, to doing it all on her own-stress free. Kevin has helped both of my sons make the transition to high school math. Algebra I requires a shift in mathematical mindset that is difficult for many students. Kevin takes a step back and meets your child at their level and in a way that interests them. He addresses the whole person - what they are learning, how they are learning and the environment they need to succeed. My daughter did well in high school, but had some challenges with the SAT exam. My husband and I wanted some assistance with improving her SAT scores. We went to Kevin and felt right at home talking to him. He was not just a tutor, but part of our team in helping our daughter succeed. Not only did he help her raise her score over 100 points, we discussed alternatives to the SAT. We are happy to say our daughter got into the college of her choice. We also used Kevin to help our younger daughter prep for the TACHS exam. Yet again, we were very pleased. Our daughter was accepted with a scholarship to the high school of her choice. We are grateful to Kevin and highly recommend him. A good investment.

Kevin worked with my reluctant daughter to prepare her for the SSAT. He was wonderful with both my daughter and me. He is smart, kind, flexible and insightful. In addition to teaching the subject matter, he provided excellent guidance in test-taking skills and gave my daughter the confidence she needed to enable her to push through the studying and test-taking while managing her school work. He was available between sessions to brainstorm and provided excellent support to me as a worried mom! Kevin is a talented teacher, and I recommend him highly and without reservation. Now that the test-taking is over, we miss him.
