We had a great experience with Mr. Kim and Katy test prep with both of my boys. Mr. Kim is always so personable and accommodating whenever we scheduled our lessons. He knew the strength and weakness of his students and always followed up on how they did on the tests. As an experienced math tutor, he was great at simplifying the problems and helping students coming up with alternative ways of solving the problems, a great skill to have when taking standardized tests. My high school junior started working with Katy Test Prep in the Spring semester of his sophomore year for both English and Math. He got the Index score of 220 for his PSAT in October and 1530 in the December SAT. Super excited about both scores. We can’t recommend Katy test prep enough. They are competent, experienced and communicative. Overall very personalized services.

I started SAT prep with Mr. Kim at the beginning of June. Immediately, I noticed a difference in my test taking skills and knowledge of the content. With Mr. Kim’s help, I was able to raise both my reading and math score. Overall my score increased by 200 points after two months of attending his classes, and helped me achieve my goal of 1550. Mr. Kim makes his students his first priority. I had a great experience and am very grateful to have found Mr. Kim and Katy Test Prep! Thank you so much Mr. Kim!

My son is a senior this year and he took his PSAT at the end of last school year. His score was not too bad, but I know he can do better. However, I didn’t know how to help him, a friend of mine recommended Mr Kim. We got our son in Katy Test Prep in mid summer. Immediately after the first session, my son told me that he liked the way Mr Kim teach him. Personally, I felt very confident that Mr Kim can help our son on the first time taking to him over the phone. He was very professional, he took his time to understand what would help our son to improve his score. My son just took his SAT and his score improved 200+, I am very pleased. My only regret was we didn’t know Mr Kim earlier. I would recommend the Katy Test Prep to any parents who want your kids to success. In fact, I already have a plan for my second son to be there. Mr Kim and his tips got a from a score of 1390 on the March SAT to 1500 on the June SAT. Later on, I used the tips he gave me over the past months and I got a 1530 on the August SAT. Genuinely so pleased with my experience here. 100% recommend! ❤️❤️❤️

My child went to Mr. Kim’s place for SAT help for total of 20 plus day. Her SAT scores increased 140 plus points. She also went for AP classes help as well. Tutor Ash and Jonathan are all great. The overall environment is focusing on learning. If you want to see result for your kid, this is the place for you. It worth every penny. Highly recommended.
