Amazing! Wayne (president of the school) is a great guy, and is very knowledgeable and inviting when you come into the school. I took a discovery flight with Daniel (instructor) and loved it. I definitely plan on getting my private license here next year.

EDIT: Just started my Private Pilot training here. Currently training in the Evektor Harmony, and it's an amazing plane. JWA definitely has one of the best-maintained fleets around here. Very efficient scheduling for flights and competitive prices too.

This place charges you for the full 2 hour instruction time regardless of your flight time. Most other schools charge at most .3 over Hobbs time unless actual ground school is given. Take into consideration of this when planning your cost to get your license or ratings. . Looking over the charges …1 hour of plane rental $160 + 2 hours of dual $65 x 2 v $130. . $290 minimum per hour of dual instruction. This is close for my son so he wants to stay here, its going to cost more than expected. He is flying 1.5 to 1.7 so its not bad but there are 1.2 days and being charged the extra adds up.

I have been a student pilot here for a little over a year and could not speak more highly of the people and facilities at JW Aviation. Super nice and competent instructors, great management, and an all around great experience thus far. Looking forward to continuing my flight training and time building though JWA and Clow International Airport from years to come!

Wayne and Paul are two incredibly awesome guys. My family and I flew to 1C5 to grab lunch over Memorial Day weekend. While we were there, we ran into a little hiccup and both Wayne and Paul helped out in a huge way. They stopped what they were doing, made some phone calls, and made sure we had everything we needed before returning home. I cannot thank them enough. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you stop by for the food, fuel and some great people.

I took my C182 in for my first oil change yesterday (1/21/22) since buying my plane. The crew there is wonderful. Michelle at the front desk is very pleasant and helpful. The owner Wayne was very welcoming. Rich and John made my visit very enjoyable as they provided a wealth of information to a novice C182 owner. Morgan the A&P who performed the oil change not only did a really nice job but also was there to help me the day before when I experienced issues (due to the cold weather).

Our experience with JW Aviation could not have been better. Our pilots Wayne and Brian helped us scatter my father's remains. Both pilots were very thoughtful and respectful and gave us the time we needed to say goodbye. They made the moment very special for us. I highly recommend them.
