I started Flying with Jaden in Feb of 2024. By the middle of next year He had completed his Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and CFI. Jaden has by far exceeded and gone above and beyond in his learning and ability to relay his knowledge to others. He has been one of my best students, and now I am excited to have him as a protege to teach and help keep aviation alive and moving forward in the Durango and 4 Corners area. After taking an introflight with another local instructor, and looking around town, I decided to fly with Jaden Mankins. I started taking lessons towards my private pilots license with Jaden and he has been an amazing instructor. Not only does he have a very fair rate compared to others, he is very accommodating to your schedule and responds timely when you have questions. His extensive flying knowledge makes you feel very safe in the cockpit, and confident in your ground studying. I will not have time to finish my license because I am leaving for college, but in just three months Jaden has helped me complete my solo flight, and the majority of the other requirements. When I return I will definitely finish everything with him. I am glad I chose Jaden as my instructor to pursue my pilots license. Hit him up!

I’ve had great experiences having Jaden as my CFI, he is a good teacher and is great at making a student comfortable in the plane. Definitely one of the best if not the best CFI in Durango. Make sure if you’re ever interested you at least get an intro flight with him, glad I chose Jaden as my instructor.

Jaden has been a fantastic CFI. Throughout every lesson he put full effort into encouraging and helpful teaching. Although he is young he knows what he is doing and is knowledgeable and exited to teach. Although he recently became a CFI this means that he has recent experience with taking check rides, written exams ect… and can easily give you feedback back on how to succeed. While teaching me he was motivated for me succeed. I didn’t have that much time to get all my hours in but we almost flew and did ground every day even twice a day at some points. Which just shows his motivation for his students success. His rates are also very fair for flight instruction compared to other CFIs.
