This is one of our favorite places in the WORLD! Seriously. My husband and I love traveling and trying new food- I’d call us “live to eat” type of people! Because of this, we definitely have strong opinions about service, atmosphere, and quality of food wherever we eat. We are so fortunate that we have the very best Mexican food right down the street! Not to mention, the service is always on point and the staff is WONDERFUL. Jarrito Loco is a must-try, and we take all of our out of town friends and family here so they can have a taste too!

Loved this place. We got the salsa sampler which I probably wouldn’t get next time now that I know what the sauces are. Absolutely loved the mole sauce, and it’s usually too sweet for me but theirs hit just right. Got the sampler with a chile rellano and mole enchilada and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. They also had a Mole de Olla soup which was kindof like a consomme and it was so delicious. Expensive for Mexican food but worth it.

Ángel is a wonderful waiter. Went above and beyond. Amazing attitude, and a warm smile. I ordered the carne asada, and it was cooked perfectly, not dry. My wife ordered the chicken fajita, and the chicken was moist and delicious. 5/5 would recommend.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Jarrito Loco, and we were fortunate enough to be served by the restaurant's friendly owner, Angel. Presentation was great, flavors were terrific, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We'll be back! Pictured is my chicken poblano burrito - lots of chicken! Jarrito Loco was recommended to us by a Latin woman who said she cried when she first ate here, because the food and flavors reminded her of her grandmother's cooking - it's that good!

The food is good, upscale from most other Mexican food in the area. It's different also in that they give you a salad with your entre rather than the rice and beans we're usually offered but I guess the difference is the area of Mexico that the owners are from. I didn't care for the salad dressing. The rest of the meal was tasty and flavorful, but the spiciness was missing. The portions are pretty large, and the price reflects the portion size. Our server was not as attentive as he could have been, but there were two others that made up for it. A younger girl came around and made sure that everyone was taken care of and made an effort to engage customers in conversation. Another server came to the table with the bill, which we were able to pay with him. We've enjoyed this place in the past, but today was just so so.

You would not know from the outside that we have a golden nugget in our neighborhood. So much stands out and stands above other dining establishments...
Service: friendly, inviting, upbeat, interested in your experience
Food: This is the freshest food you will ever find. Every single dish had incredible flavor. It's rude to lick your plate, but you will want to! The dessert was dreamy. Everything was 5-Star.
Atmosphere: Pristine clean, lighting is perfect, walkways are easy to navigate, bar looks gorgeous (like a piece of art), speaking of art...be sure to pay attention to every piece you see, seating was excellent (we had a comfortable booth)
Price: They should charge more
Experience: They have Specials on Tuesday and Friday I believe. Also they open a special bottle of Tequila and describe it PERFECTLY (be sure to try it if you are there on a Friday). I got the "house" margarita which was a generous pour and of course had delicious flavor - I sipped it slow to enjoy!

A Family Affair: Angie, Angel, Junior and Natalia are a family with decades of experience in Los Angeles and they chose our town to open another incredible establishment.

You can feel the heart and soul that has been put into Jarrito Loco - it is without a doubt the best authentic Mexican dining in Colorado.

Servers and staff were all very friendly and attentive. The food is decent, but not good enough to justify the price. The google price range is off. Nearly all menu items are around 20 and up, not 10-20.

Didn't apply to us, but the menu does cater to vegan and gluten free needs.

I eat here a 3-6 times per year. I definitely come when they have a mole sauce dish for their special. The service is always great and the food is delicious. The salsas and taste are unique (not the norm). The interior of the restaurant is decorated nicely, but the exterior could be better . Prices may be a couple of bucks more than the more common Mexican restaurants around but worth it. Overall a 4.75 rating from me.
