I have been faithfully attending JBC for well over a year now. I've struggled in the past with church attendance as cultural norms would often become embedded in the churches culture, whether they were representative of the word of God or not. If you are a believer and want the most faithful adherence to the teaching of God's word I've ever experienced or are struggling with faith and want to witness the character of Christianity, please come here. If you want to learn of God’s character, I promise you it is being faithfully taught here.

We have been to this church multiple times now and have found the following evident. The preacher has one mission, to glorify God and to proclaim Gods truth. Sound biblical teaching that lovingly challenges our understanding of the gospel. The uniqueness of this church has also been evident due to its adherence to the teaching that the Bible is God's written revelation to man. What a blessing to have this teaching in Jacksonville!

I visited Jacksonville Bible Church recently and it is a really nice group of believers! The pastor cares for the people that attend and the members are really friendly. The music is biblical and great as well, something which I was very thankful for! If you're looking for a firm and biblically convicted church in Jacksonville, IL, visit this church!

If you are looking for a solid church with biblical teaching, come join us! Pastor Andrew and Sarah Lafferty have a true heart for Jesus and pointing others to Him. I have been going to this church since April of 2020. I am so excited to be a part of this local group of committed believers. I have grown deeper in my relationship with Christ and seen growth in how I interact and have community with my brothers and sisters at JBC. Since coming to this church, I wake up Sunday mornings excited to go to a place that truly points me to God and receive teaching that challenges me into a deeper walk with Christ.

My husband and I attended the worship service traveling home. It was a wonderful blessing to hear God's Word preached accurately, sing the Lord's praises with rich songs and pray with God's people. We both agreed that if we lived nearby this would be our church home.

We visited Jacksonville Bible Church this past Sunday. They are a new church plant from Southern View Chapel in Springfield, IL. The pastor does an excellent job of preaching and teaching God’s Word. I think if someone wants to choose a church in which the Bible is the ultimate authority, this church would be a wonderful church to chose.

Andrew has an accurate perspective (hermeneutic, for those of us who like fancy words) of the scriptures, and a heart of compassion for sharing them with people. Both as a person to fellowship with and someone to learn from, I couldn't recommend him more, he's helped me grow tremendously in my spiritual walk and been a good friend. If you're serious about God and the Bible and living your faith, this is the church for you. If you're not you should come anyways :p
