My mom has been living at JCSL since 2019, so for 6 years. It is a wonderfully friendly place. She enjoyed living in the independent area for the first couple of years. Kitchen staff is unknowledgeable about things and staff members are using their bare hands to eat off of the line while cooking.
Care partners and QMAP’s are completely understaffed and overworked. The personal connection between higher ups controls a lot of things in the building. Residents in memory care are not cared for properly and neglected.

I served as a volunteer to do make-up for their Beauty Pageant they had for the residents and was very impressed with the class and fun of the activity! Gorgeous facility. Wonderful staff!

Jackson Creek is a very nice place for senior living and memory care living. Laura gave us the complete tour. We saw several rooms - all were very nice. We now have to decide when to move my mom. 🙂

Update - 3/29/2024
We have moved my mom into Jackson Creek. She has been a resident for a couple months now. Every time we see her, we ask her if she still likes living at Jackson Creek. She always answers with an enthusiastic “Yes! I thoroughly enjoy living at Jackson Creek.” She likes the staff - they are always very accommodating and very helpful and always very pleasant. She likes her apartment - it’s plenty big and very relaxing. She likes the food - the meals are prepared restaurant style; the portions are generous and the quality is excellent. She likes the activities - she goes to several activities during the week, and always enjoys the outings and scenic drives away from the facility. She also spends a lot of time in the library reading books and magazines.
I am very relieved that my mom likes living at Jackson Creek. The entire staff has been very easy to work with, and made the whole move from California very easy.
