I was just recently discharged after a 5 day hospital stay at Good Samaritan. The staff were generally very friendly and kind outside of a couple of exceptions. I received prompt care, however unfortunately there were two medical errors, one that was pretty egregious by a nurse not intervening during an obvious sign of a problem, that resulted in doubling the length of my hospital stay and additional trauma (a procedure had to be redone). I hope this was an isolated incident and mistakes can happen in medicine, but I hope they documented the nurse error at the very least to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

Handicap parking is too far from the front door. It’s too far for those who are handicapped to walk. An alternative is maybe offer valet parking. Maybe instead of worrying about aesthetics for the property outside , you out your patients and their families first. I’d rather drive south , even though it’s farther.

I am so glad I decided to have my baby here 2 months ago, from taking the baby hospital tour, going through emergency to being in labor it was such a beautiful experience. I am so thankful for Dr. Weatherwax and all the labor and delivery nurses and postpartum nurses they really took good care of me and my baby girl, they are so nice and patient.Our view was also so beautiful during the fall from our room. I decided no more babies for me in the future but if I did have another baby I would do it here again. ❤️❤️

I was completely disappointed with the service we received when visiting the ER at Good Samaritan Hospital. We were experiencing an insurmountable amount of pain. The nurses were not helpful at all. We were appalled at how we were ignored due to the doctor shortage that night. I had high expectations that the nurses would hold themselves to a high standard and be professional even with the shortage. We weren’t even addressed of the issue, I had to seek out the nurse myself to get answers. Completely unacceptable. I will never seek care from this hospital again.

I was admitted to the 4th floor and Rachel was one of my nurses, she was SO wonderful! Jo and Seaca were also my nurses the following days. They all gave me SUPERIOR care. I go 30 minutes out of my way (when I can) to go to Good Samaritan because their service is always the best. There is no comparison to other hospitals in the area. Thank you SO much for your care, thoroughness, attention to detail and making me feel like I was your only patient even though I know you all are so busy! I want to thank the entire hospital, all my Dr's, nurses, cnas and even the admins! Nelson F.

My family and I have been coming to this hospital since it opened. The new greeters are downright rude, not like the wonderful ladies we use to have. Now they talk down to people like they are children in a very condescending way! The worst one we encountered was Kurt. He spoke to us like he was a drill sergeant, almost yelling and was super sarcastic. This is not the customer service we wanted or have come to know over the years, as we are under stress and sad due to our family members illness. Remedial training on hospitality, customer service and empathy are needed for these folks. He also spoke down to his coworkers contradicted security who was trying to help us navigate an issue. This guy is on a major power trip. Going forward, we will find another hospital to go to after years of coming here; because of this horrid "welcome" and experience with these nasty people who greet you. Not a good impression once you walk in the door for a so called "healing environment"!!

If you can go to ANY other hospital I would recommend it. This is the 3rd hospital visit my partner and I have made to this hospital (due to insurance) and every single experience in the ER is atrocious. The doctors have been helpful albeit overwhelmed but the nursing staff is almost always and entirely condescending, disorganized, extremely rude and off putting towards the sick patients. I am thankful that I have been able to accompany and advocate for my partner during these stays as the nursing staff would entirely take advantage of a sick person without any form of empathy than do their job with the slightest bit of bedside manner and care for the people who are in need of their help. I asked 4 times of 3 hours if pain medication could be given. Each time I was told my partner received pain medication. This was false and led to 4 nurses entering the room to provide the pain medicine and run other tests. We sat for 2 hours without any medication, even IV fluids, being administered.

We were also told there were more sick patients that were being treated currently as if my partner violently vomiting up blood, unable to stand , etc wasn’t “as Sick”

I recently delivered my baby at Good Samaritan hospital and I can’t say enough wonderful things about their labor and delivery team. From the moment I arrived, the nurses and doctors went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable, supported, and fully informed. Their kindness, professionalism, and attentiveness eased my nerves and helped me focus on the excitement of welcoming my baby.

Throughout labor and delivery, they constantly checked on me, made sure all of my concerns were addressed, and kept both me and my baby safe. I felt truly cared for—like each and every staff member was personally invested in our well-being. I’m deeply grateful for the outstanding care they provided and highly recommend the labor and delivery department for anyone looking for a supportive and skilled medical team.
