You can call when you get off work at 2:30pm and they will have you wait until 5pm their closing time and never pick up wait all that time just for them to send a robot to tell you they are closed as if it take over 3hours to help patients.

I've been waiting 10 months to get help I received nothing in the mail I go down to the office I sit there and wait until my change runs out which is about $5 later and about hours later you sit there and watch everybody else get help they tell you you can call the number someone will help you I called that number they told me they couldn't help me that I had to continue waiting so now we're at three applications and about $40 in meter change later 10 months no letter no help nothing ... We are now weeks after they've escalated my case up to tier 3 due to a technical issue I had to fight to get a card and I still don't have any stamps because my case is still not updating to the technical issue so I've been fighting for almost a whole year. Then I've been on hold for up to 2 hours and then if you don't make it through by the time they close they will hang up the phone it doesn't matter if they helped those 20 something people it said we're on the line they just hang up on everybody. They really don't care about you. They are really just there to get paid and go home they don't actually care about the people that they are helping.

Horrible, horrible and more horrible! Wish I could rate a zero. I sat on hold for an hour and 2 minutes only to be hung up on. When I called back, it was 12 people waiting this time, as opposed to 11 the first attempt! How do you people sleep at night?!? You seriously suck at your jobs. Have some freaking compassion or don't work for the establishment!

Been trying to contact them since Thursday of last week and now been on hold for over 30 minutes. They lost my card and never re issued a new one. Enough of the automated responses and give us an option to talk to a customer service representative.

Probably the most unorganized office in the State. They are closed on days that are normal days for a government place. They never have caseworkers available for anything. Wait is 2 hours no matter the time of day. Horrible place to go to but we have only one choice the State needs to have someone come to this office and get it in order because it’s embarrassing to the people who don’t have resources to travel back and forth I wish this office would figure it out sooner than later

They don't answer the phone ever, as far as I can tell, and they have yet to return a phone call despite promising to do so in 2 business days. Not everyone has time to go downtown every time they have a question. Not looking forward to going in.
UPDATE:
Because they never returned my calls, I was forced to go in. Good luck finding parking nearby—be prepared to walk a few blocks. When I got to the office, there was a line out the door that took about 20 minutes to get through. This brought me to a window where the person tried to help but couldn't do what I needed done (to *quit* one of their services that I was supposed to do myself online but I lost my password—no "forgot password" option—and the state phone people said I had to do it online) so I had no choice but to sit and wait. Imagine waiting to renew your driver's license, but worse. They recommended I go on my phone and sign up for a new account and try to merge the two while I waited. I could not get this to work. As I waited, the line actually did disappear, so I guess that part depends on the time of day. As my 2-hour max parking meter time was minutes from expiration and I was about to leave, I was finally called to the back. The room is huge back there!! Lots of cubicles--yet nobody can answer the phone? The lady was friendly and tried to be helpful, but was still unable to do what I needed (why is it so hard to *quit* a program!) so she improvised a way to hopefully fix it and sent me on my way within 5 minutes. A few weeks later I got mail that indicated to me I'm still in the program. 🤦‍♀️ They'd have to pay me to go back there. Or at least give me a scheduled appointment. Anyway, the people are friendly but unable to help and it's a huge bureaucratic mess. Good luck!

Hello this is Andrew shelby and we have put in applications for Liz Stacy and we've received a deactivated card. Now this has been twice we've had to reassign her food stamps because she didn't have any forms that she officially lives in peoria now. Shes from a different state and is claimed to be homeless, my wife needs those food stamps so we can eat. So either yall can give her her amount she needs or we can have a talk down town so it's your choice. Either something didn't go through or someone ain't doin their job. I don't play games when it comes to someone's life being put on the line we will have this discussion til further notice have a good day
