I had an amazing experience with the school and the program. I met a lot of people that will be lifelong friends. I showed up everyday and put in the work needed to learn what was needed, and then worked swiftly afterward to stay on task to complete the 3 builds required to graduate and earn my set of tools. I love the tools I earned. They are all Milwaukee tools with a lifetime warranty. I use them almost every single day for work as a handyman. I've burned up my angle grinder about 5 times and my drill once, and every single time I send it back and they send me a brand new one within about a week. I finished the program and also was guided on the steps to become a licensed contractor. I got an R-62 handyman license before I completed the program. I still have the license and just really appreciate all I had learned at the school and the patience of the instructors. I have plans to eventually build my own homes once I'm financially ready. This program set me up perfectly for learning every aspect of building, and equipped me with all the tools needed to make money and work as a contractor. I'm super thankful I did this program and for the knowledge I learned, the people I met, and for the friends that I made. I worked as a builder after the program for an additional 3 builds. They paid me well and I miss working for them. I might be applying for another position soon.They are good people and overall I rate this school five stars and recommended to everyone any age.

One of the best decisions of my life! We learned how to build 3 different tiny houses all within 6 months. Literally from the ground up! Idea'l has a very different way of teaching the trades. All hands on, with very little classroom time. We learned different codes and could take an R-62 exam to be able to attain a handyman license. I can proudly say I am not in debt either. This was a difficult course but I learned so many different things. Between using tools correctly to also learning to fine tune my people skills. I'm glad to say that after completing my course i was offered a position with my school too, I am now a teacher! Definitely a great course to look into if hard work is not intimidating and a great entryway to finding a job in the trades!
