We have had the most fantastic experience with Huntington Learning Center D.P. My son struggles with reading and writing after years of getting "reading support" at public school. When we began with Huntington Learning Center, my son was given a thorough assessment of his reading, writing, and math skills. Once we received the results of the evaluation there was a meeting scheduled to go over the entire evaluation with specific methods of how the teachers were going to bridge the gaps academically. Our son has been attending the center for over two months, and we have seen improvements in reading and writing. As a mom, nothing brings me more joy than to see my son gain confidence with the education that Huntington Learning Center is providing him. Each month, there is a follow-up meeting to touch base on what he is doing during his sessions, improvements made, and their specific course of action. Thank you to each person at Huntington Learning Center Dr. Phillips, for going above and beyond for children in our community.

Huntington couldnā€™t help my child learn to read, which is understandable because it turns out she has dyslexia and needed a multi-sensory, explicit approach. I let Huntington know that she had dyslexia once we found out. Despite this, I was advised to still continue bringing her there so she wouldnā€™t regress. It seemed like they just wanted more money without actually knowing how to help her.

Edited to add that that is correct. She does not attend currently. But she was there in 2023 at the Dr. Phillips location in Orlando.

Huntington is an excellent learning center! The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and articulate. They break down information in a way that kids love going back and without feeling time pass. The learning spaces for each student is private and quiet and very conducive to learning! Thank you for boosting my daughterā€™s confidence in math and ELA! We couldnā€™t be happier šŸ™‚

My kids have been going there for years and we have noticed their grades have gone up significantly and they have gained so much confidence! The directors and staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I canā€™t thank them enough!

Huntington is just what our little emerging reader needed! While we love our school, some kids just need a little extra attention and one-on-one care and that's exactly the boost our little one needed to get him across the reading finish line. He's much more confident in his independent reading skills and overall approach to learning.

My son has been going since winter. Theyā€™re flexible with scheduling. Heā€™s been going one on one 3 hours Saturday, 2 on Sunday. Since school ended heā€™s been going Monday and Friday for two hours each afternoon via zoom because he went out of the state for family and now heā€™s adding in Wednesday to bring math up a little before the school year starts. In reading heā€™s gone from like third grade comprehension to partially through 7th, to go into 8th. Heā€™s progressed from third grade math into 5/6th which was hugely impacted from Covid shut downs of schools back in maine and why we just added Wednesday just for math. He always struggled with reading but never came forward and said his special classes werenā€™t helping him. Heā€™s struggled with nervousness in groups but I think going back in person heā€™ll be ready to be in a group instead of 1 on 1 because he has the foundation down to feel smart enough to be heard. Itā€™ll help him to move on to utilize peer learning too which are connections heā€™s struggled to make. He did go from failing everything to some classes being a/b and others being c/d but did not fail for the year. The things heā€™s learned helped with classes he was doing well in to take notes and keep comprehending while he listens. It also helped for him to get an iep plan to help with how he learns. I have nothing but good to say. Each month parents have a meeting where we get to see how theyā€™re doing, where theyā€™ve struggled, the work that theyā€™ve done well and ask any questions. My biggest negative is the cost. I luckily only have one child and have prioritized this so he can have the best opportunities when he gets to a point that running his life is based upon his own decisions but it is expensive. Many parents could not shoulder the cost. If your child isnā€™t struggling many grades behind and entirely excluding themselves from classes you may not be able to put your funds here. It did however impact his social status too because on Tuesday/Thursday he joined science tutoring which was more like a club at school. He didnā€™t need help in science but tutoring allowed him to feel better in a social educational environment to be seen and heard.

After the world shut down and as the 2019-2020 school year came to an end I was
faced with a very troubling question, what was school going to look like moving
forward. Michael struggled in the last part of first grade, having his parents as his
teachers was not what he ever wanted and I knew we were facing more struggles
and challenges ahead.
It must have come exactly when I needed it, I received a call from Huntington
Learning Center. I could not believe what I was hearing; school, face to face
learning, class size not to exceed six children, and safety protocols. Huntington
Day School was what it would be called and although it was going to be different,
it sounded perfect.
Michael has been at Huntington Day School since they first opened their doors. I
have watched Michael make friends that became family. I watched Michael come
from below grade level and not loving school to never wanting to miss a day and
craving to learn. Michael found his strengths since he has been at Huntington Day
school, Michael loves math, science and art.
In 2022, I was finally able to register Alexis, who struggled with online learning
and also when she went back to face to face school full-time. Alexis had challenges
both socially and academically. What a wonderful year she has had at Huntington
Day School as I have watched her confidence grow and saw her spread her wings,
from an academic standpoint I could not be more proud.
Choosing Huntington Day School for my childrenā€™s education was the best thing I
could ever do for them. At Huntington Day School every child gets one-on-one
attention from their teachers. The teachers are amazing and communicate very
efficiently using all of the latest technology. Often, I get updates during the day
about how things are going in school.
Before Huntington Day School it was hard to get the kids up and out of bed, now
they canā€™t wait to get there in the morning and donā€™t stop talking about their day! I
donā€™t want to know where we would be without Huntington and thankfully I can
say I donā€™t have to.

I have recommend Huntington to a friend and actually they got their daughter enrolled for the program as well. My son used to go to Kumon for a long time but when he went to middle school, I noticed there was a big gap so I decided to try Huntington out and so far heā€™s in his eighth grade and we have been seeing good results as far as his grades are concerned and Iā€™m hoping that this will continue until high school and it will carry on with him so he can have the skills that he need to succeed when he gets to college.
