Our experience with the center in Carmel relates to ACT test prep. Following the initial evaluation, Kurt identified my high schooler's strengths and weaknesses & formulated a personalized learning plan to cover areas that needed to be taught and brushed up. The plan included opportunities to do full length practice tests in person in addition to a bank of prep material made available online. My child enjoyed the lessons taught by instructors specialized in the subject matter. Kurt & his team are dedicated, thorough and strive to help students maximize their potential.

We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s experience at Huntington. She’d been getting some frustratingly mediocre ACT results, so we decided to give Huntington a try. Kurt was very professional and put together a thorough plan for her, which included their practice ACTs, in-person instruction, workbook texts, and practice online quizzes. Each instructor was excellent, and they emphasized both content for understanding as well as strategies for taking the actual ACTs. She took three ACTs while enrolled at Huntington, and her scores soared… she started with a composite score of 23, and after two additional ACTs, her superscore composite is now 32, with a 36 in reading, and a 34 in English, and 30 in math. We’re thrilled with these results. Make no mistake, this program involves a lot of work and commitment on the student’s part. Kurt makes that very clear from the beginning. Summarized, this whole experience was outstanding and it made the difference in where our daughter will attend college. I highly recommend them without hesitation.

I highly recommend Jennifer (Center Director) and the teachers at Huntington. My son would not be where he is today without this team. They were very supportive and helpful when my son could not read leaving 1st grade. He started at a Kindergarten level with Huntington and they got him up to a 3rd grade level by the time he reached 3rd grade but there were still improvements that he needed to focus on. They also helped me seek additional help at school and the search for learning disability testing. We are on a great path forward now, my son has developed great skills/foundation and developed more confidence. I am so grateful for this team and their support through this journey not only for my son but for me as well.

We had a fantastic experience working with Huntington for my son's ACT prep. Kurt was knowledgeable and straight forward. He was responsive and spent time with us setting up a strategy for success. His team executed on everything we discussed. Most importantly, the team instilled confidence in my son and it was a positive experience. The scheduling team was also extremely responsive, flexible and easy to work with. They provided consistent feedback to my son and intermittent feedback to us as parents. Huntington followed through in every aspect. The process does work and Huntington has a lot of resources to support their students. My son was dedicated and he surpassed his goal! I highly recommend Huntington for ACT prep.

We used Kurt and his great staff at Huntington to get my son ready to take the ACT. They were amazingly helpful to us! Not only did my son get a great score after his prep time there, Kurt also gave us excellent and valuable information about colleges, superscoring and test taking strategies. We could not have asked for a better experience. We now have a very strong test score package to present to colleges! Fingers crossed!

We started at Huntington after noticing our son was really struggling post-COVID. We wanted him to gain confidence and improve on his reading and math skills. The one-on-one attention was great and I really appreciated how they worked at his pace and didn’t progress until he had mastered a specific area. We also had monthly in person meetings and were updated on how he was doing. I am happy to report that he is truly thriving and doing so much better in school and has been gaining so much confidence and independence. We are grateful for his time at Huntington.
