Our school district is thrilled to be working with Hopkins Education Services to support two very special learners. Thanks to their incredible efforts, these students are flourishing in their educational environment! But that's not all!

The Hopkins team are true collaborators. They've not only empowered our students, but they've also helped our staff learn new ways to support them. With Corey and Elizabeth at the helm, this phenomenal support service is making a huge difference for both students and educators alike!

The Hopkins are knowledgeable, always come prepared with engaging activities, and share a detailed information with us about how our children are doing. We have been so pleased with Hopkins Education Services. Our seven year old daughter’s confidence has grown exponentially since she started and she went from hating to read to being open, motivated and positive about reading. She absolutely loves her time with Ms. Liz and is so receptive to the activities planned. Liz is incredibly organized and has in-depth, challenging and creative plans every session. She is excellent at communicating with us and teachers and helped us get the support our daughter needed at school. I highly recommend Hopkins! It was the best choice we could have made to help our daughter grow and succeed in school and in life. After 6 months our daughter has improved so much she is close to ending services, however, she is adamant she will meet with Ms. Liz until college!

Corey has done a fantastic job with my son. He started by working with him on techniques for relaxing and breathing to eliminate fears and help calm him and get him in the best place he could be, mentally, for learning. This foundational work and the subsequent work that Corey did working with him on reading and writing has transformed my boy into a much more articulate communicator in his writing and speaking. I'm now seeing this new love of reading in my son. We are so excited to see where he's going. Corey comes to us - he's done visits at both our house and at the elementary school our son attends. He's very flexible and easy to work with. My son loves his time with Mr. Corey. Thanks for all you do, Corey and Elizabeth!!!

We are beyond thrilled with the services we are receiving from Hopkins Ed. Our son has been meeting weekly with his Hopkins Coach to work on reading, writing and expression of his ideas. We originally chose Hopkins because of the high quality of service and reviews provided by other parents. We've seen positive results in our son as well as a boost in his self confidence! We've been very happy with the online experience through this pandemic, as it allows our son to have meaningful connections with others during this stressful time. Over the years we have worked with a number of very qualified tutors (retired and active teachers, paraprofessionals, educational specialists, etc.) to help our son with his AD and keeping up with schoolwork. While all were helpful, we finally found the “special sauce” in Hopkins Education Services.
Our son has worked extensively with both Corey and Liz and as a result we have seen advancement in his studies and test results. However, perhaps more importantly, we have seen more pride in his work, reduced anxiety and more focus. We believe this is largely due to the unique mindfulness lessons Hopkins uses to empower kids to better understand their emotions around learning. Corey and Liz ask our son probing questions to help better know him and his fears and challenges, as well as helping him identify his strengths and interests. This balanced approach thusly sets the stage for improved learning in a calm state of mutual understanding. Our son has become more empowered working with Hopkins and can now do work more independently without extensive frustration.
As parents, we are extremely grateful to have found Hopkins Education Services, not only because the tutors teach skills to address current academic tasks, but because they provide a framework for life-long understanding of learning and how to work through its challenges. The weekly notes that Corey and Liz send summarizing what was discussed and worked on during the tutoring sessions are extremely helpful and detailed. As a result, we feel “on the same page” with what the tutors are doing and are keenly aware of what our son is working on and how he is feeling on a daily basis. Corey and Liz also take a proactive approach to keeping in touch with our son’s teachers. They know what lessons are forthcoming in school and plan their sessions with our son accordingly so he is prepared. Not only do we recommend Hopkins, but we would be happy to discuss parent-to-parent.

Our High School daughter started working with Corey this Winter. Corey met with us and listened intently to understand the challenges our daughter was facing with understanding her courses and seeing up with the homework. He is very understanding and encouraging to her to keep on track. We will definitely plan on continuing with Hopkins Educational Services in the Fall.

My daughter has Autism and struggles academically. We have used Hopkins Education Services for many years. Liz and Corey have done wonderfully. They are intricately involved with communicating with my daughters teachers and have even been available to attend IEP meetings. I am glad to have them as a part of my daughter's education team.
