This school doesn't seem to provide the "teachers" any tools or training. I'm not even sure what qualifications the teachers have. They don't have any support for classroom management - ie. When a two year old wont nap, they let you know your kids a problem. Tobbi, the administrator, seems very nice at first, but I always got the impression she was flying by the seat of her pants. We took a break from school for a bit and then wanted to come back. She didn't answer my repeated messages to see if there was a spot for my kid for at least a month. When she got back to me, I was told my kid would have to do a half-day trial run to see if it was a good fit. I didn't want to bring her back to her school for a half day just for the chance they would say she couldn't be there with her friends.
Hills charges as much as other preschools that offer more for your money. The security is lax - sometimes they lock the doors and sometimes they don't.
They are constantly running through teachers - or at least we experienced high turnover. The kids barely got comfortable with a teacher before getting a new one.
After doing research I found a few better options. My child is in a school where the teachers LOVE her and she's actually coming a long very quickly. The teachers have degrees and training and know how to help my child learn. She loves school now elsewhere from Hills. I just got the feeling they didn't like my kid there. I've seen this same treatment happen to another child there as well.

Hills Academy has been wonderful for our family. It’s our daughter’s first school experience and although she was a little unsure at first (as is to be expected), she now looks forward to going to school and frequently tells us how much she loves her teacher and classmates. Everyone we’ve interacted with has been so friendly and welcoming. Ms. Monroe (the director) clearly cares about each child and family. She communicates clearly and is always quick to answer any questions. Ms. Shantel (our daughter’s teacher) has been amazing—incredibly caring, kind, and patient. I’ve been impressed with how well she’s gotten to know our daughter and how she’s been able to customize her teaching to help her grow. I would definitely recommend this school and am l looking forward to sending our kids here for years to come.

My little girl loves going to preschool at Hills Academy! Her teacher is lovely and Tobbi, the director, is always friendly and easy to work with. It is obvious our little girl is learning in class and she had grown emotionally and mentally so much since starting school.

Amazing Academy for my Son. He has thrived since joining. Being that he was never in day care and never really around lots of other children, it was amazing to see how inviting the atmosphere was and how he gravitated to wanting to go back each day. His behaviors have been great, speech and knowledge have improved and absolutely love the understanding of prayers and God in his mindset. Affordable (which was HUGE for us), great curriculum and safe environment. Cannot say enough about the staff. Friendly, caring, and treated like you are family. Would recommend highly to others and hope they can experience the quality start this academy has to offer.

Hills Academy has been more than wonderful for our preschooler! He has learned so much in a short time and is prepared for Kindergarten. The balance between academics and religious content is perfect. The atmosphere is so welcoming and loving. Mrs Shantel and Mrs Tobbi are an incredible team and truly love all the kids. I would recommend this program to anyone!

Hills Academy has been absolutely amazing! We ran into so many issues when trying to decide what to do for our preschooler when the time came for him to go to school. God placed Hills Academy into our laps at the most perfect time and has been a blessing ever since. Tobbi & Mrs. Shantel have made this atmosphere inviting and welcoming to all of the kids and have truly worked so hard & have put their hearts into this school. We love that our child is learning about the Bible and Jesus along with all other academics. I will enroll all my children into this PreK program in the future- I truly believe in everything Hills Academy is doing!
