Love the turf fields here. Great fun for family play when not in use by a team. Pool, weights, machines, track, and the facility in general are fantastic. Love this pool outside for the younger kids. Easy access on the west side and a short drive from the East.

I had a bad experience at the WestRidge Rec Center this morning. The staff upfront purposely screened me longer than usual when I told him that I forgot my gym card. While Ken was holding me hostage, he let a dad and her daughter into the Rec Center as they also did not bring their gym card.
I didn’t like being treated differently this morning. Ken knew what he was doing.
I can’t change the way I looked or my skin color. My hope is living in a more diverse community, #racism doesn’t exist and people will be treated with respect and kindness.
My hope is that #hrca will placed friendlier employees and one who is comfortable with people of color or someone that embraces #diversity

Angels work here! My family and I went to several rec centers to take our two children ages 8 and 10 to swim to beat the summer heat and to take a shower as we were dirty from camping. We were turned away by 4 other centers that had policies that wouldn't allow us to buy a day pass unless we were members. We were about to give up when we came across this Highlands Ranch rec center. We decided we would try this last place and if it didn't work
out then we would just go back to our camp site. When we went in we were treated very nicely, but they told that we had to live in Highlands Ranch to access the center. Luckily we live in Highlands Ranch and I had my driver's licenses to prove it. They front desk person, Ms. Charlotte, looked at my ID, but said that because we live in an apartment we technically could not use the center. We explained our situation and that we had been turned away by the other centers due to membership rules. We thanked her for her time and were in the process of turning around to leave. Without hesitation she stopped us from leaving and graciously added all of us under her personal membership guest pass and allowed us to use the center and pay for the day pass for our family. As a result our family was able to swim, shower, and have a wonderful day! We are so grateful for Ms. Charlotte's kindness and compassion. Thank you Ms. Charlotte for transforming our stressful day into a wonderful afternoon.

Come to this rec center! It is very clean, has several amenities suitable for kids and adults, and most of all the most compassionate staff I have ever encountered! If I could give this place a rating higher that 5 stars I would in a heartbeat!

Place is well kept. Its cool to have an indoor turf field for the area. This HRCA facility is much more built for working out that some of the other ones.

I recently took my son to the batting cages at the Westridge Community Center in Highlands Ranch, CO, and overall, it was a pretty good experience. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, which is a huge plus. It's nice not to worry about dust and grime getting in the way of some quality father-son bonding.

However, there was one minor hiccup. The pitches were often a bit too high for my son's liking. It'd be great if they could adjust the pitching machine settings to accommodate younger and shorter players better. That said, it did give my boy some practice handling high balls.

One important thing to note is the last cage. It's crazy fast and strictly for ages 16 and up. Don't even think about it unless you're looking to challenge your inner major leaguer. We watched a few brave souls try it out, and it's not for the faint of heart.

On a positive note, there's plenty of parking available, which makes the whole experience hassle-free. All in all, the Westridge Community Center batting cages are a fun outing for dads and kids, with just a minor pitch issue to consider.

Facility was very clean. Staff was great. Work out room was too crowded and I saw several people switch machines without wiping them down. Decided not to use work out portion of facility. Pool area was great and locker rooms leading to pool were clean and nice.
