Havasupai is critiqued as the 'poor' school in Lake Havasu City, as a lot of lower income families live in the area. However, I must disagree; Havasupai offers services other schools in our area do not. And I simply cannot sing Mrs Welch's praises enough, she knows every student and is incredibly kind. I've had many children of mine attend this school (foster parent) and I am familiar with every teacher and every one of them are exceptional. This school is an excellent community of adults and children alike and if you choose to skip over it as a low income school...its your loss. I simply cannot express my gratitude for the teachers and staff of this school. In addition; my kids really enjoy the company of the janitor who had come an introduced himself to me during an awards ceremony. He was kind and very thoughtful, as everyone on campus is.

I went there for 6 grade and I can say that I had the best year there I love all my teachers. They taught me well I will miss havasupai elemtary .and I'm ready for middle school but now I have the ability to go to 7th grade because of all of my teachers
