A very different experience from other Habitats, this Habitat definitely has that unique Durango touch being an expensive furniture store as well. Don't expect the deals you might find in a bigger city, this store just doesn't have the volume.

The prices are outrageous. You would be better off to shop on Facebook Marketplace or some of the thrift stores in town. These are all donated items, and they are asking 600 or 700 dollars just for some of the tables in there. There was also an item that said it was 45 dollars if you load it and 95 dollars if they have to help you load it. The item was not large, so that is a bit confusing to buyers. Many of the doors they sell are close to retail price of what you would see for a brand new door at Home Depot. Save yourself the time, and do not visit this store.
They have lost sight of their mission. Staff is not friendly. We felt unwelcome just looking around.
They could sell a lot more inventory if they lowered the prices.

This store is amazing! So interesting and a lot of different things from furniture to pictures, mirrors and even tools. Prices are more than fair for second hand items and Jacob and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Every time I go the inventory changes. And, the sales go to such a great cause! 👍

Oh my goodness, new management FINALLY!! We stopped shopping here years ago because of the ridiculously high prices, but I walked in today on a whim and was wonderfully surprised. They've changed things. Prices are now reasonable again, hallelujah. Staff is welcoming and kind and their goal is to move items at affordable rates and help the community. Happy dog snoozing at the entryway too, what more could you ask for ?! I'll be back for sure, and plan on spreading the good news that Habitat is now worth visiting again. Five stars!!

Tried to donate gently used items but got the run-around and ultimately told they didn't want them. HFH is such an important community cause, but it's sad how this interaction went down.

I personally love this store and staff ! Chassie the pit bull mascot of the store does seem to steal the show … however - this store is so full of treasures and I am extremely happy with all my purchases and experiences here ! Great place good people and of course - you cannot go wrong with a beautiful sweet dog to greet everyone.. Thanks guys !

Thankfully the H for H store is Under New Management and the prices are now in a reasonable price range. Jacob and his team are personable, helpful and make you want to drop in on a regular basis to see what's in stock!

Extremely overpriced. This used to be a great place to get inexpensive used items but since they’ve moved into this new larger building, their prices have become far too high. I used to check there first whenever I needed something now I don’t waste my time. I used to really enjoy going there, the people that were working or volunteering were very friendly and helpful. I’ve actually considered the idea that they have purposely over priced their larger items because they don’t want to deal with moving things.
