The most amazing place I’ve been to. Everyone was so kind and treated me amazing, I always felt safe there. I’m only 15 so that says a lot lol. I recommend Guardian Angel to anyone who is going through a hard time because they will help you through it. They are the least judgmental people you will ever meet. Amazing people.

I donate to a lot of women’s shelters but this is the only one to ONLY accept new clothes with the tag still on them. Makes me sad I have unused tagless toddler clothes by the load and no one from this charity will have access to it. I was a domestic violence survivor and I would’ve done anything for warm clothes on my kids. We didn’t care about tags. 🚩 we are donating to morning star mission if any mom who needs 2t-3t boys girls clothes I know how it feels to leave everything behind. 🫶🏼 to get to safety

They have been helping us the best way that they know how! They get donations from generous donors throughout the community and they help people with other resources, so you really have to be patient with them! This is not a homeless shelter program! They help victims of domestic violence and their families! They do their best to reach out to people in the community as much as they can but they have other referral resources through other organizations. Based on personal experience, I can tell you that I've been helped tremendously. I still have my beautiful London Fog peacoat that was donated to me brand new! Thank God they have helped my son and myself! Things are getting better gradually for us. Just taking one day at a time and not getting stressed out about matters anymore!

It's a nice facility but the counselors are rude and disrespectful. They talk to you like you are a kid. They degrade you in your time of need. They don't help you with anything. They wouldn't even get my son a composition book. Guardian Angel misleads you into thinking you're going to get help but they just send you to another shelter. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT you better off just going to a shelter on your own. Poor use of Joliet IL tax payers money

Wants to take children and go home there own. How bout I take your child. How would you feel. I’ve been an orphan before yet they talk like it’s ok and normal. Not here to help but destroy families. They pretend to be your friend but really be careful cause they nothing but enemy.

Guardian Angel Community Services provide some of the most needed social services through a variety of programs that are vital to the area residents of Will County and beyond. I have seen first hand, the amazing work done by these professionals with passion, caring and resolve to make our fellow neighbors, friends and family members lives better.
The best run non-profit social service agency in Illinois! Recommend anyone in crisis or need of help of any kind to reach out to the organization.
