What a great place to train. Thomas and all of the people I train with are awesome. Everyone is very welcoming and the more advanced persons are eager and willing to help. Training has boosted my confidence, and given me real world skills. I've acquired skills beyond self-defense, like problem solving, thinking on the fly, and the confidence that I can endure and conquer difficult situations.

Transformative and life changing. This gym has taught me skills that has boosted my confidence and has helped me realize I'm capable of self-defense should I ever need those answers to a bad situation. The culture of the gym is so positive and inviting, and everyone encourages their teammates to grow and prosper. It is an especially positive environment for women to train--all the guys are respectful and wonderful training partners! I've never once felt uncomfortable. The quality of instruction from Professor Thomas is top level: he welcomes questions, is patient, and strives to help his students become better martial artists. This gym really is a hidden gem, and I'm incredibly glad to have found and made it my jiujitsu home! I wouldn't recommend anywhere better to learn martial arts!

This gym has such an incredible team atmosphere that is uplifting, encouraging, and helps push you to grow. Thomas is a wonderful teacher and very knowledgeable. The gym is offering new classes (kid classes, and adult, kick boxing, etc.) which helps students learn even more skills and try new techniques. I would highly recommend this gym for any age and any skill level!

Thomas teaches my son Chase in his kids class for BJJ. We heard about him through family and we are so grateful that we did! His dedication to the kids is something truly special. His attentiveness, patience, and easy going/friendly personality creates a warm and comfortable space for the kids along with the parents watching in the audience. We love Thomas, and highly recommend that others look into him and what he does!

My sons and I recently started at Ground Zero as total newbies and I'm so glad we did. Thomas is the real deal, and he's a great coach for both kids and adults. Welcoming environment full of nice people working hard to get better. Multiple high level practitioners graciously share their time and knowledge. Super strong value proposition considering the invaluable skills getting taught. I highly recommend giving it a go if you're on the fence.

My three boys are in BJJ with Thomas. Thomas is one of the most kind people we know and his patience is beyond any patience I've seen! His knowledge of the sport is 10/10, his patience and kindness is above and beyond 10/10. My boys love their BJJ days. They would be there 5 days a week if we didn't have other life to live.
He deserves all the stars! 👏

My son loves going to class and training with Thomas. He had low self confidence and has grown so much this last year because of this group! Thomas and the others have encouraged and taught him a lot. I am forever greatful for this place and the friendships he has made!!
I love that he is always excited to go, talks about what happened in class and has made countless friends.
Even when we had to take a break for other school sports, Thomas continued to encourage him in whatever he was doing.
Highly recommend!!!!!
