I took the Emergency/Immediate Responder Course with Dan. He is an awesome, patient, friendly, humorous , and knowledgable instructor. He answered all the questions from everyone in the class. The course not only teaches you the techniques but also let you know the reasons of why you want to apply the techniques and the mechanisms of the injuries. Moreover, the class is very hands-on which allows you practice the skill you just learnt and get feedback. The final part of the class gives you a sense of what is going to be like in a real life emergency scenario through a controlled simulation. I would highly recommend folks to take Dan's class.

I took the Immediate Responder course. Dan the instructor was awesome. He had a ton of real world experience and advice. He also did a great job teaching the material in a realistic manner using tools we can carry on an every day basis.

I took Immediate Responder Course with Dan. The course is very comprehensive with real life examples, actual practice with equipment, and application of learned skills in stress test in the end. Dan answers any questions you might have about the course and self-defense and anything else you can ask. I am looking forward to take other classes from Dan, and highly recommend Immediate Responder Class. I think it is especially useful with so much violence around.

I took the Immediate Responder 2-day course over the weekend. I was a bit jaded at first because I have taken other courses such as CPR and Stop the Bleed. That did not last long! The complex material and simulations were well balanced for maximum retention. Daniel, the instructor, has substantial live fire experience as an Army medic and instructor plus civilian casualty events. He has a gift for explaining complex, life-saving skills and reinforcing them with intense practice. His examples ring true, and his stamina and enthusiasm never wavered. If you are feeling a bit jaded about your skills, this course will revive you!

I had the good fortune of participating in an emergency medical response class from Grizzly Medical at my workplace and I must say it was probably the best workplace training I've been a part of in my 10 years with this company. The instructor Dan was on point, professional and friendly, his knowledge and experience is exemplified through his work. The material was concise and there were many examples of real life applications, the hands on training was also much more in depth than any other first aid/cpr/med training I've done before. They also do great knife fighting, pistol and rifle training! 10/10 would recommend to anybody that doesn't want to die, at least not without a fight.

I had the opportunity to take a class in Boise, ID that Dan (Grizzly Medical) helped facilitate. This was a 3 part course called Cerberus Skill Set, Dan handling the medical portion of this. He has so much knowledge and real world experience with medical treatment so to be able to get a glimpse of this through the 3 day course I took was absolutely phenomenal and I am very thankful I got to learn what I did from him.

He doesn't sugarcoat anything and helps you really understand the importance of understanding and knowing how to properly treat someone who's been injured. I have taken a few different medical classes which I have learned a lot. Dan has been the most real and honest instructor though which I really appreciate. Because that's how the real world is with things like this, you come up to an accident...not everyone is going to be cool, calm and collected, including yourself.

He teaches breathing techniques to keep you present and focused, how to help keep the victim calm, what information to gather, and how to begin treatment. We even got to put our knowledge and skills to test in a high stress environment. Any opportunity you have to take a class with Grizzly Medical, take advantage of it. You will learn so much. I look forward to taking more in the future.

Did a glock training class with very little experience like I’ve shot maybe 12 rounds from a handgun before, left feeling very confident in my knowledge and ability to handle and operate a handgun safely. Trainer is a great guy a lot of experience and very good teacher. All the material was explained and questions were answered. I recommended all my friends and who ever to do the class.

The training was awesome! Instructors were knowledgable, personable and willing to engage with everyone to answer their questions and make sure they were really engaged and absorbing the material. This is training that could literally save your life or someone else's if you're the first on scene.
