Greeley Flight School is the best! The instructors really care about you and your goals. Flying of GXY is efficient; you’re up in the air in no time. The prices are reasonable and the maintenance is good. I did PPL and CPL here and will definitely stick around for more ratings- if anyone can get you ready for a checkride it’s these guys.

THIS IS THE REAL DEAL! I do not endorse flight schools unless I truly believe they have good quality aircraft and high quality instructors. I have worked at several flight schools including Greeley Flight School and have both part 61 and part 141 experience. Daniel and Bree Isbell (the owners) are fantastic people and while they are running a business they are not looking to just take your money. Daniel is an experienced instructor who I have flown with on multiple occasions and would recommend him as an instructor for any rating. Bree is always ready to answer for the phone and help handle anything in my experience.
Jay Turnbull is among the best instructors in the Nation to prepare for a CFI initial checkride.
These are only a few of many great individuals involved with the schools operation.
When it comes to looking for a checkride waiting time for a pilot examiner is generally much shorter for Greeley Flight School students.
Overall I recommend you at least do at school tour and a discovery flight with the schools you consider. But I think you will see for yourself Greeley Flight Schools quality is better than the competition.

Great group of people to learn how to fly. I originally called and talked to Daniel and you can tell he was passionate about what he does and wants students to meet their end goals. Between the ground classes and instructors I am very glad I chose this school.

Greely Flight School is top tier. Their instructors are very experienced and tailor each lesson to every students learning style and needs. They have a versatile fleet with for those who like low wing or high wing aircraft. With affordable pricing, I had to come back for my CFI-I with Nathan after completing my CFI with Trey. They were both super knowledgeable.

Jay is an expert when it comes to the CFI ground school. His connection to the aviation community in Colorado adds a lot of value to the school.

There’s no better place to train in Colorado than KGXY, lots of approaches nearby and complicated airspace for those who want a challenge.

I am a 48 year old small business owner. I started working with Daniel and his team months ago do to many factors. I have always wanted to fly and have taken many discovery flights at multiple flight schools. Most have given me the cold shoulder, were not the right fit, or just gave me a bad vibe.
