This place is your haven if you're a fan of miniatures and trains! The history reflected on these multiple-decade long built models reflects the true passion that these peeps are so passionate about. My lovely lady and I enjoyed our visit here very much. Michael is extremely knowledgeable in Colorado's railroad history and locomotives. We're truly honored to have met such a bright individual who informed us all throughout our visit there. They do not charge for entry, but do accept donations, which they are not announcing either so make sure to drop some moola in the bin so they can continue to cherish and share this wonderful piece of Colorado history. Thank you GVMRC!

What a delightful place to visit!! It is a must for me every time they're open. I love it if family can go with me but I'm always willing to go alone. Their hard work, dedication and love put into the railroad is exemplary. On a scale of 1 to 10 for me it's an 11!! I highly recommend visiting cross Orchards living history farm. In the summertime their Farmers Market is the best!

Sooo neat & you will notice different areas of the CO west incorporated in the working & evolving diorama.
Dont be afraid to ask the club members any questions. They were very helpful & friendly to my wife & I. ?

So much fun seeing the trains and learning about them and the areas the models were depicting.
The level of detail in all the trains and the scenery and people is incredible!
