We love Goldfish Burr Ridge! The instructors are all great with my kids- they are well trained and always give great feedback on our kid’s progress. They are also great at working with them if they are anxious at times, like during transitions to new levels. We recently hosted my daughter’s birthday party here it is was a blast! Very easy for us because the staff helped setup and cleanup and provided most everything - supplies, balloons, lifeguards, and a fun atmosphere. It was a great opportunity to have a pool party in a fun, tropical setting in the middle of winter- (and for a very good price). The whole family had a great time. I highly recommend Goldfish swim school for swim lessons and parties or events!

Amazing place. Great swimming class and friendly stuff, professional instructors. My son love it.
In general swimming pool is not big but very cozy.
Time duration for a class is 30 min with the price starting $31. The are groups up to 4 kids per instructor. Kids are trained one after another.
Parents have possibility to wait in the pool area on a bench or behind the glass.
Very comfortable waiting area. They have aquarium with turtles and fishes, toys and books if you came with other kid.
There are many changing rooms. Shower, hair dryers and other needed stuff available as well ( swim shorts, glasses).
You also can get free candy on the reception.

About the lessons. I was amazed about the results from the beginning. My son loves his instructor and I am so thankful that my son learning safety skills

Good instructors. Management is nice. Overall a clean facility. Seems there’s a lot of turnover as instructors aren’t consistent, you often get a different instructor who may not be familiar with your child. Showers can have cold water often times, even on winter days. Lack of communication - they won’t post that the facility is closed on their social media and no emails received about it either, and they don’t always answer the phones even when they’re open. Not the best availability for makeup sessions. We’ve been coming here for years so just waiting for my kid to “graduate”.

There are some good instructors here. However, the problem is consistency. Half the time our instructor isn’t there. Then either the class is just cancelled last minute or we get a sub that usually has no idea what they are doing. We’ve had our class cancelled 3 times in the past few months. We’ve had lifeguards filling in for coaches. We have 3 swimmers for each of my 3 year old son’s classes and only 1 is being taught at a time. So basically I’m paying for a 10 minute swim lesson and our regular teacher doesn’t even show up half the time. For infants Goldfish is nice because the water is kept very warm. For everyone older save your money and go somewhere else.

We’ve been coming here for a couple years on and off and have had a great experience. I love this location specifically because of the staff and cleanliness. We tried Naperville’s location and it was much different. The teachers have been so great with my toddler and she’s been making amazing progress and we can tell because we have a pool at home too. I definitely recommend to start your little here!

Such a wonderful atmosphere, very safe, very family-oriented. My son gets so excited getting ready to drive there and once we arrive he still has so much excitement waiting for his swim classes. Highly recommended

This place would be great if a few changes would take place. Kids are in the water for 25-30 minutes but in reality having 5 kids at the time per instructor that turns into 10 or less of instruction per child. The cancellation process has been the worst. Staff (if they ever pick up the phone) they promise you a manager will return your call , THEY NEVER DO. Here is a tip, when you keep calling and no one answers the phone (try pressing the key for “you are a potential new member, not an existing one” you have a better chance for someone picking up. My final call was to tell them I would just file a claim through my credit card company.
