My daughter just had her very first flight lesson with Jamie, and I couldn’t have imagined a better introduction to aviation! Jamie’s passion for flying is absolutely contagious—she made the experience exciting, safe, and empowering from the moment we arrived. Her calm, encouraging demeanor helped my daughter feel confident and in control, and the way she explained everything was both engaging and easy to understand. You can tell Jamie truly cares about inspiring the next generation of pilots, especially young girls. This was more than just a flight—it was a memory that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend Girls Love to Fly and especially Jamie if you’re looking for an unforgettable first lesson!

I used Girls Love to Fly to study for my private pilot checkride, and it was seriously so helpful. The 30-hour ground training certificate is a nice bonus to show the examiner, but the best part was how much I actually learned. Instead of just reading boring books, we talked through real-life scenarios, asked questions, and actually understood the material—not just memorized it.

Meghan (the chief instructor) is the best—super knowledgeable and great at explaining things in a way that sticks. Even in remote sessions, she keeps things interesting and makes sure everyone’s engaged. Plus, the price is way better than most other ground schools for the amount of training you get.

If you’re prepping for your checkride (or just want to actually get aviation stuff instead of zoning out over the FAA books), I’d totally recommend this!

I had a wonderful time with Girls Love to Fly!!! I started flying in March and was able to get my private pilot certificate by August! All the girls are amazing people and fun to be around. The get-togethers are always a treat when I’m able to find time in my personal schedule and I think it’s a great opportunity to meet other girls in aviation. The ground school zooms can also be really interesting, two cool ones I remember off the top of my head were the NorCal Tracon Guest Speaker and the Aerobatic Pilots.

Some of the most supportive people that I have met in aviation 🙂 I have received quality instruction in a friendly environment, and the prices for the planes and instruction are affordable. Girls Love to Fly also puts together unique events and ground schools, which have been a great way to connect with other pilots.

Great atmosphere, great flight school. I have never flown before besides for traveling purposes, and this was absolutely amazing! The wonderful instructors made sure I was comfortable and helped me every step of the way. Definitely will be back.
