The worst school I tried getting into. I was told different start dates that I was supposed to start my first class. Didn’t even get no information of where and when to buy my books. Every time that I would call and ask for information, the person always sounded very rude and unprofessional. They just took my money and never refunded me. Supposedly it was gonna take 30 days to receive my money back. Yeah 🤬 that never happened. Also, when I went to the location to try to speak to someone I get discriminated for being a Hispanic Latina. I really don’t recommend this school for anyone because they’re just liars and stealers.

I started taking my prerequisites this past October for the LPN program. The instructors are awesome! I finished the teas exam today even prior to finishing my classes and scored a 74% when the average is 64%! I have been learning a lot. I don’t know why so many negative reviews it’s probably people who didn’t have the real motivation to actually want to succeed. Also, Elena is awesome. She even helped me get a job at her doctor friends office! I love Genesis!

First, they will tell you that there’s only two/ one seat left in the program. So, you need to come up with 1500 cash for the registration. They make it seem that there is no space! This place is unorganized. You will not learn anything. Only to hear your professor the dean about his autobiography. Do not worry, you will pass the class! Because exam is open book, No handout, no assignment. They will pass you! Make sure you drop the class the first day. You will not get your money back or get a refund. $3000 for a class. This school is about the money. All the good review here is a lie! I be complaining to the board of education.

Very Rude Management which is the president and owner for over 20 years, her name is Corazon E. Cordero, took courses there over 10 years ago, called for records and she was beyond rude, confrontational, unprofessional, and hung up in my face. There were not any payment issues or any reason for her approach or to withhold my paperwork. What should have been a 1 min or less phone call ended with no email communication sent with documentation, and police having to be called as I had to go retrieve my documentation. Please find a learning institution that conducts business appropriately and how to speak to past and current students. Thought she was insulting me as the officer and I were leaving the premises and yelled out keep using Workforce, just a glimpse of how prejudice she is to anyone she may assume that comes from underserved communities. Please take your time, and look for a program that will educate you, value your presence and respect you. As Respect is non-negotiable.

This “school” is a joke . They will take your money since that’s all they care about. Forget about communication you will be ignored 90% of the time they only see students as a profit. Try calling, emailing ? You will be ignored
Starting off with my experience in the LPN program and don’t forget it’s a 2-year program for a LPN!!!. I decided to take the risk even though they warned me about the school situation, first they are soooo unorganized and unprofessional ask me what I learned on the first week nothing because it didn’t include homework no study material and when I asked they proceeded to tell me that they were working on something which I NEVER got. $$$$ that I’m obviously never getting back which was a lot of $$
After I tried to get a refund the lady told me that they had 1 student pass out of how many ? 30 students were “accepted “ but when my friend and I left only 10 students stayed, and how does it make sense that only 1 student passed the LPN? She also told me that nursing is not for me which was very rude on her part .
Save your self your money and find another actual school 🙂

Highly recommend. I joined the class late, and the staff/instructors were really understanding and supportive of me catching up on all that I had missed. They provided me with all the material that was previously covered as well as a copy of the power point slides of the chapters that they haven't even discussed yet. The staff/instructors really strive for the students success. They'll do what they can to make sure you're truly understanding the material, and they are very helpful during clinicals. It also helps that the course material and fees are discussed before you make the commitment of signing up. Also, the small class size makes the learning more hands on and interactive.

Greatest experience ever. I wouldn't change my mind about the decision I made for myself and my future, I chose this school for its flexibility and knowledgeable instructors who have emersed nursing experience. I highly recommend Genesis healthcare Institute for anyone who wants to pursue LPN.
