I used to love coming in here to looks for books I’ve been interested in reading. Unfortunately every time I have gone in recently people who volunteer there are discussing politics and religion heavily while condemning others who aren’t Christian in their conversations. Books are my escape from the real world stresses. If I wanted political or religious opinions I would seek out forums online. I personally won’t be returning simply due to the uncomfortable environment that has been created.

This is a great bookstore! All of the prices were very reasonable, and they apparently have a program where books are half off on Wednesday. The staff there were extremely friendly. There was a great selection and everything was organized fairly well. I'll definitely come back here when I'm in the area again!

okay so this was a year ago but i was thinking about it today. i had to get this really specific book for a class. i checked the sv library and the school library. nope. i didn’t really have money and i really didn’t want to buy the book, but i really needed it. so as a last resort i went here. i looked around the store for a while but didn’t find it, one of the women up front asked me what i was looking for. i told her, not expecting her to find it, but she was like “oh yeah i’ll be right back!” she walked out literally 3 seconds later with the book. then when i was paying she said it was going to be one dollar. i was surprised and thought i just misheard so i asked again. it was, in fact, one (1) single dollar. not even gonna lie i almost cried. y’all don’t understand how badly i wanted to find this book immediately - the hw was due that night and my instructor’s class policy to keep from getting dropped was really really strict. the fact that it was only one dollar did not feel real to me. i probably sound really dramatic but i was having a hard time working through some things at this time last year and the fact that just this one person was helpful and kind to me helped me get through it a little more. i really wish i remembered her name, i wish nothing but the best for her and for this business. i never review things ever but this felt worth it.

The employers are very friendly and helpful and the store itself is clean and organized with a decent selection! I believe we paid $3 for hardbacks, $2 for paperbacks, and $1-$2 for children’s books on a normal, full-price day!

I would frequent this very nice facility more often were it not for an older rude lady who works there, Saturday, August 10th, at 3 pm she has been rude and overcharged for the third and last time. I will never conduct my business there when she is on duty!!! ALL the other workers are awesome, very professional, friendly and fair.
