Human Resources are horrible on their job! They never answer the phone, always getting my phone transferred, don’t return your call, and are not available in person to help you. This includes Rosemary.

Instead of using funds for your children's education and to better the lives of the teachers this district is choosing to waste $500 a day per substitute that cross the picket line. Y'all need to resign if your bank account is more important that children's and teachers well being.

I have been trying to get an issue resolved regarding the principle of my son's school for over a month now. I keep getting promises of a call back and it not happening. The one person who said she would schedule the meeting I wanted to have with all parties involved no longer works for them. The principle flat out lied on my son and his teacher is willing to back me, but I can't get get a meeting. I would give zero stars if I could. I have never experienced such dishonesty and unprofessionalism within a school system in my life. DO NOT SEND YOUR KIDS THROUGH THIS SCHOOL SYSTEM!!

This district has no care for all children my.grandson was going to easterly elementary 2 years ago and the teacher decided to put him and his desk by the sink were all the cutting tools were. Now mind you this is a child that has the mind of a three year old and every one knows you have to watch a three year old all the time.but the teacher told my grandson that he could do anything he wanted because she was not going to teach him at and that it was not right for her to have to . so did all I could do about that teacher and after I talked to the school and they said who cares if one child with disabilities gets hurt it's not the end of the world. So I took him out of the school and trued to find one that would work and thought I had one but the school he's in now says oh if your child does not learn like health normal children and does not pass to the next grade then he needs to find another school. So now I am trying to find a school were my grandson will like trying like the teacher he has right now she makes my grandson happy and he likes going to her. And I hope it don't put a stop to him trying to learn

Id like to start by saying I'm typically not this harsh with my reviews, but ive had issues with this department for years, and after having yet another disappointing phone experience with today's FUSD phone operator, and transfer department representative, I would like to finally share my opinion of them, combined with a small portion of the issues I've had with this department soley during the past year.

Staff is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and literally the WORST COMPANY I've ever had the displeasure of speaking with EVERYTIME I CALL (for years). Don't bother contacting them with issues because THEY ARE COLD, and. DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ASSIST. In fact I had to lie on an application to get my child out of a school that they were being bullied at, amongst a number of other things because, DESPITE MY FEARS OF MY CHILD'S WELLBEING AT THE SCHOOL, FUSD REFUSED TO HELP WITH THE SITUATION... I'm not certain of exactly who regulates FUSD, but would suggest they do an investigation to find out who and what the problem areas are, and if nothing else, replace the problematic staff with ones who can tolerate incoming calls long enough to at least notify you of when and where they're transferring your call to. Would also be nice to speak with anyone over the phone without being talked at, and spoken down to.

Having a bad day is one thing, but a bad decade is unacceptable. The trainers may want to add a lesson or two in courtesy, and professionalism during the next meeting because the staff is getting worse each year..the low reviews are here for a reason...

Bottom line - calls should be monitored, staff should uphold a certain standard, and should be reprimanded when that standard isn't met, or nothing will change.

Fresno Unified, you are a shameful, pathetic excuse for a school district..

Whoever regulates FUSD, get involved.

News media, get involved. Maybe reporting this issue on your platforms will help fix their system.

My wife recently gave birth to our 4th child, we called in for my 3rd grade son, we would not be able to take him to school that day due to the early birth. The office at lawless elementery was very understanding and wished us well. We get a letter from the big office of fresno unified telling us our son was not excused from school because of my wifes emergency birth That is madness! I went to lawless elementery and talked to the attendence clerk and the principle, the attendence clerk informed me that she would make some calls to get this mistake fixed. Well it didnt get fixed!!! Fresno unified main office said that our emergency birth of our 4th child was not an excused absence for my 3rd grade son So he was marked truent. Fresno unified has a flawed system that needs to be repaired, the current system in place is obviously designed to villify good parents and bad parents in the same breath. They also said my fathers recent death was not an excuse as well, he was marked truent for my fathers funeral service. I am a wild land fire fighter for the usfs and cant believe the state allows this to go on, I am his father and am very very disturbed by the fresno unified office down town fresno, how is it not excused when my wife and child nearly died during birth? Fresno unified has NO RIGHT to treat us like a dead beat family and the letter they sent is does just that! I am a man of priciples and wont rest till these terrible actions are fixed.

Fresno Unified would not even give me no guidance on where I can get school paper for notes in class or a backpack. I wish their were resources for people that can't afford notebooks , backpacks and pencils.
