Wow, what can I say about this school & the amazing staff and teachers. Not only are the staff accommodating and open they are incredibly helpful. The teachers are truly dedicated to their students and helping them succeed. I changed my child from a local charter school to this school and I have not regretted that decision for one moment.

As a student that goes there. I say it has improved. Everyone can be nice, the teachers are willing to teach. And everything is fine. Just the thing is. I believe the district is bringing the school back. The teachers have less freedom to teach how they want. Well it shouldn’t be too free but the old curriculum from last year was better then the new one “Florida virtual”. The teachers are forced to teach things not their own way, but the districts way.

Unfortunately, this school has staff that is more interested in collecting a paycheck than teaching our students. This is no longer an educational institution but a penal one. The focus needs to be on academics and the school itself needs to be held accountable for its performance. Our children are paying the price.

This school waist their money poorly and are using it on irrelvant things, fundraisers dont help the the kids or the school in amy way. Teachers and staff are rude and dont know how to do their jobs, always make false accusations about kids.and teacher scare little kids, sad to see their scared faces, and also, jasperson takes almost a month to grade essays we get a week to do. Their is a month till next school year, you have a month to choose another school

This is a new school to the Dysart district. First year is 2019-2020 school year. All previous reviews are from old school which has been shut down. This school is not a boundary school so you need to apply to have your child attend. Children will be wearing uniforms as well. I am very much looking forward to this upcoming school year! Freedom Firebirds!!!

I wouldn't put my worst enemies children at this school. They are behind in academics, rude and careless. You are lucky if you get a good teacher. I've never walked into a school and even the nurse warns you about enrolling your children.

Reading these reviews it's very clear that renaming this school and changing the colors and mascot doesn't erase the reputation and the past of this school.. I personally went to this school and I had the worst experience of my childhood here I wanted to see if they could change their ways but I guess not

We love Freedom Traditional Academy! Smaller class sizes and superb staff has done wonders for our child. FTA instills a sense of community with students and parents alike.
