If you, or a relative don't have insurance or too little to cover equipment, Freed staff may be able to help. Equipment is used and donated, but it's clean and safe. BUT, they may not have the item you need if it hasn't been donated. There is no charge. When they have it come in it is donated out
At the same time,
If you, or a relative have done with any equipment please consider passing it in for someone else to use that needs it. BUT, it must be in good order and working! They are not a dump and have to pay to haul trash away, so please, working and in good order only. PLEASE!

I take my client there, and have had the pleasure of working with Brook, she is so friendly, helpful, AND thorough. She makes my client feel very comfortable and at ease, every time we meet with her, and that can be difficult to do with, traumatic brain injury clients. All the staff at Freed are wonderful. She really loves what she does. FREED is a godsend for people that wouldn't have otherwise. One of few remaining establishments that actually helps where other's can't or won't. Keep up the good work guys!!!

This is a invaluable org that probably does more for the community at large than half of the other local orgs put together. They offer a huge variation of services and are a godsend for family caregivers as well as the disability community. They've assisted me personally countless times with referrals ans assistive equiptment lends among other things. The staff is dedicated and compassionate, and their involvement in the bettering of life for so many is integral. We're so lucky to have FREED in this county!
