Our son received driving lessons here and it gave him the confidence and skill he needed to be a good driver. Our daughter didn’t take lessons here but did her driving test, she got a lot of help from them on a few problem areas and it was a very good experience even though she had to retake her test. That is a hard thing to do, but what a good thing to help people be safer drivers. Driving is hard and teaching driving is even harder! I’m so thankful someone is willing to do this in our area!

Took my son for his test since we don't have a place in cortez that does testing anymore. I was told by several people to go to pagosa springs instead, because every time they have someone from out of town come they fail them the first time. Due to time restrictions I choose to ignore the advice and give them a try. I should have listened. I won't say my son is perfect in his driving, but he is good. They even said he was a good driver, but failed him by 1 point. Now I will have to take time off of work again and drive all the way to pagosa springs. When they say the will do the test for you without their mandated "driving instruction" hours if you live more than 30 miles away, it seems like they just find another way to get your money. I have had several people tell me the same thing has happen to them.

Looked up what the speed is for residential here and asked the dmv and he told me 25mph and 20 when school zone lights are flashing and I asked what about if there’s no school zone lights and was told 25mph the lady examiner wrote me up twice for going 23 on the area of 25mph (the supposed speed limit)for speeding in those areas where it was okay and failed me I feel like I should’ve gotten my license but idk what’s up with that

Scam they tell you the wrong turns to take during your exam and mark you down so you fail.

They also insult you before the test even starts but right after they take your money! Should be illegal to steal peoples money and time this way. Then after stealing your money they will ban you for being upset.

Many of the negative reviews I’ve seen describe my experience as well extremely nit picky two miles over speed limit twice was 5 points told be I’m a good safe driver but didn’t pass and my complete stops of three Mississippi weren’t long enough or considered full stops and then my second attempt I purposely did bad and I passed just seems to me as a money grab technique and the black car is quite dirty and messy but Stephanie she was great

Huge hearts doing a difficult service: I appreciate the gentle but focused attention when we needed a last minute appointment and just got lucky to have a cancellation. We had an emergency and I was incredibly grateful they could even entertain fitting me in and didn’t give me any heck about it. My instructor was precise and clear with his instructions, and our test went smoothly and respectfully of me and my well being (even when *I* made an error and didn’t look well enough, he was on it for both of our safety).

For all the ways a day at the dmv can be rough, the service and care this team provided me; from the woman who setup my appointment to the man who was my instructor; was spot on. And because they aren’t the DMV, they work as the middle man between you and the government to ensure you contribute to safe driving on the road; and for that I am grateful. He had great advice for my errors, and whether it would be helpful to get my permit upgraded to a license in person or online, based on my situation.

Thank you all for making our tough situation so smooth. It was the smoothest part of our day 🤭🤗

Oh my goodness everyone I came into contact with during the process was just absolutely amazing! Especially Mrs. Stephanie! She was so kind and respectful! And my driver's (I took the test twice) were both incredibly calm and kind, and the mistakes I made were well explained and gave tips on what I could do next time! If you need to take your driver's license exam choose them!
