If I could give no stars I would. This is a scam. Don't go here. You won't be able to get a job with the certificate they give you. The student loans for this are way to expensive.

You can't just rate a school on the teachers devotion to there students ! Try rating it on number of students finding a job 40,000 dollars later in a state other than Alabama ! you should really do your research on the school you want to go to. Just saying ! I went I loved all my teacher but Maybe one, and the school but as far as getting to work after I grad lmfao. Company's laughed in my face caus they didn't even know who I had certifications from. So one month after getting all my stuff done I had to pay a few hundred bucks just to get a job in Florida. Something they don't tell there students until it's to late!! Loved my time at Fortis, love the friends I made but all in all it wasn't worth the money I have to pay back. Sorry

I can only speak to the HVAC program here, avoid it. This place is a diploma mill. Everything they promise you in the sales pitch is a lie. This is one of the most expensive HVAC programs in the country, and you won't even get an A.A.S. degree out of it. They don't have the proper equipment to train you. They don't have the proper faculty to teach you. They don't have the proper staff to manage the program. Most of your class time will consist of "study hall" time where you ask "why am I even here? I can read my text book at home." You won't follow the curriculum, most classes will be "well what do you guys wanna work on?" They'll give you the answers to the tests right before the tests. You won't be graded on practical application. You won't even be evaluated on whether or not you can apply the trade practically. Hey, this place is great if you just want a certificate that says you did it. It stinks to high heaven if you actually want to learn something.
